Ha! I did that a long time ago on a car and it worked.I added washers under the front bolts of the rails in order to lift the front edge of the seat. I think I raised it about 1/2" which made a big difference in comfort for me and cost about $2.25 and 6 minutes. I used 3 of these on each side.

Thanks for your post, I hope one or some of the suggestions help the OP....meanwhile, my wife and I just ordered 2 of these for our camper van...they look great to sit on!I've had similar issues with getting comfortable on a long drive. What helped me was a tapered seat cushion. It got my butt up higher.

yep, mechanically they are the same either manual or power. the cover colors vary and you have some special stitching on lobo and tremor. Are the Front Seats in the 2025 Maverick the same as the Older Mavericks?
Interesting. I feel like I should do the exact opposite. I have a history of blood clots and the pressure points I get on the underside of my thighs sometimes makes me nervous.I added washers under the front bolts of the rails in order to lift the front edge of the seat. We all suddenly learn stuff that we need to , to take care of ourselves. Thanks for you insight. One of the reasons I traded in my Silverado on a Maverick is my brother in law who is 2 months younger than me. Last fall, just a few months after retiring at 65 he had a stroke. Doctors said it was caused by a blood clot. He still has no use of 1 side and told me when I was there he couldn't get into his full size truck, their large SUV, and had to find a vehicle he could get in and out of and store his wheelchair. I had clots in my lungs 4 years ago from pneumonia so I too get nervous. Hadn't thought about the pressure point of raising the seat front.
Dm me if you had the same issue as my wife, who couldn't quite reach the gas pedal comfortably...she had to hold her foot in the air!We did the exact opposite of what some people have suggested. We got the seat jack spacers and put them on the back of the seats. This tips them forward, not back farther.
We almost didn't buy a Mav because neither of us were comfortable with the seat. We figured worst case scenario, we change out the seats. Or have them remoulded. (If you search old seat posts, someone took theirs and had the cushions in it changed)
I am 4' 11" and my husband is about 5' 9". We share the truck so the seats have to work for both of us. (Our other truck is a Peterbilt) My huband likes to drive with the seat down but didn't like the tip back. I felt my knees were too high. I also need the seat way up so I can see over the steering wheel!Yes, you can laugh at me. I do all the time!
We used the tallest Spacers in the set we found on Amazon. We had to find our own bolts because the supplied ones were the wrong thread. Also had to file a notch in them because there is a little pin that sticks up and gets in the way.
In the end a few of large washers probably would have worked the same.
This worked for both of us. It changed the angle of the seat when all the way down. Just an inch or so fixed the issues my huband felt in just the short test drive.
I now like it just a tiny bit below all the way up.
We love our Maverick. Have had it just over a year. Hope you figure this out.
Not really. In the end a few of large washers probably would have worked the same.![]()
