Sounds really good in my opinion…especially for a 4cyl. Gonna be hard to make a 4cyl have a deep sound

I guess "sounds really good" is subjective. I can't think of one 4 cyl aftermarket exhaust system that sounds compelling or authoritive. Many manufacturers have tried, all have failed, IMO. Again, subjective. YMMV.

Im sure the aftermarket will come up with something. There are some ecoboost mustangs that sound pretty good.

That's often literally all that's required for these drive by wire Fords. Although the devil is in the details on how easy it is to change the flags in the PCM to enable it until Forscan or the like catches up.

To get back on topic, I asked Borla since they have such a close relationship with Ford Performance if we could expect the Maverick systems soon. Their reply was to stay tuned for some big announcements this spring, so hopefully we don’t have to wait too much longer!

Understood. As you say about the devil. Get Steering wheel, assume wiring harness is same ( cruz vs non) etc. Then there is always that itchy subject "Warranty"

For a decade I spent a fair amount of time (and money) tracking various vehicles I've owned. During that time period I've watched, followed, and passed (in my V8 Miata) a number of Subaru STIs and that all sounded like crap, no matter what exhaust system they had.
Don't get me wrong, I really like STIs and I think they're an awesome track car, but they DO NOT sound nice. Guttural BLAT, BLAT, BLAT.....

I used to have a Honda VFR800 motorcycle that had a V4 engine and it sounded amazing with an exhaust. Make it sound like that.
