K&N CAI damaged parts

I got my K&N intake today. So far the main tube looks to be riddled with issues. There is a gouge in one of the tube inlets. And a the nuts' threads are pretty fucked too. Emailed K&N. Waiting for a reply. Hopefully they'll make it right.

not a fan of the whole oiled filter concept but from being around a number of K&N products over the years this looks out of character quality wise.

Yep never had an issue with kn stuff I’ve run them for years in everything. Just a fluke if I guess and they should make it right.

Yep, I echo Snow801. I have been using K&N for 30 years, and never had a bit of trouble. They are an upstanding company, and will make good on your purchase. BTW, one of the first add=ons I went for on my Hybrid was the K&N filter, but they only make it for the 2.0 engine.

$20 or less paper filters that last for 25000 miles or a expensive junk filter setup that puts more oil into your intake and messes up sensors. good choice. have had nothing but issues with krap nasty filters.

Had KN oil filters for my honda ctx 700 motorcycle that were defective/recalled . kN was PIA to work with for this defective product . I personally wouldn't use them again .
