That changes the follow distance when the adaptive cruise control is on. Each line is one second of follow time so the distance is different at different speeds. If the cruise control is off it doesn't do anything.Hi Folks, first time poster here. I’m the proud owner of a 2025 Lariat Hybrid. I traded in my 2005 Ranger for the Maverick and am very pleased with my new vehicle.
My question is this. On the left side of my steering wheel is a button with an icon of a vehicle with three lines underneath it. When the button is pushed I see nothing new on the instrument cluster. I see no mention of this in the manual and my google searches have turned up nothing. Can someone tell me what this button does? Thanks in advance.

Thank you so much for the calm, careful instruction video. There's so much tech crammed into this instrument cluster.

To some yes but it’s mostly useless bells and whistles, Big Boy Toyz, nothing more.Thank you so much for the calm, careful instruction video. There's so much tech crammed into this instrument cluster.
I did not get an owners manual ! Ford is cutting costs@Paul in Illinois
This is the exact reason the owner's manual was invented.
It's all in your manual. You need only read it to find the treasures within.

I'll bet you got a missed piece of paper or quick guide that says where it's at.I did not get an owners manual ! Ford is cutting costs

When I picked up my 23 Mav and the sales person was going thru the features he said that I seemed to know all the menus. I told him I had read the manual numerous times while waiting 16 months for my Mav to be built, LOL!Yep, nobody reads anymore. It’s all in the owners manual.
Asking about a single button is fine but reading the manual through like a book is best.
:’P
For my '25, the manual is shrink wrapped into the infotainment center, so there is no printed copy.my owner's manual is still nicely shrink wrapped in the glove compartment.
But, downloaded on my phone.

If you had a cell phone. You can download the 2025 revised version for free and always have it with you.For my '25, the manual is shrink wrapped into the infotainment center, so there is no printed copy.
It would be difficult to read about what to do during a battery failure...
I think a print version would provide an excellent alternative to the Sears Catalog for reading time while on the throne, such as was enjoyed for free by @Cherokee in days now gone by, but such is not an option without buying a ream of paper and a couple of ink cartridges, or throwin' down a Ulysses for a copy on fleaBay.
Sadly, gone are the days of the free owner's manual in book form, at least from Ford..
I'm old school and I generally prefer hard copies to a screen, especially a cell phone screen. If you had a cell phone. You can download the 2025 revised version for free and always have it with you.
Like I did with my 2023 manual. Always convenient, no need to run out to the truck to get it.![]()
I prefer hard copies, too, but I've found that the manual for my '24 is very poorly organized, so it's much easier to find information via a word search in the .pdf version.I'm old school and I generally prefer hard copies to a screen, especially a cell phone screen.
Maybe it was due to all those decades of slaving away coding on a mainframe terminal.
A cell copy is an option as you state, it's just one to tolerate rather than like in my case.
