It appears that some of the buttons on the '25 XL FWD model have been moved from the console (by the parking brake), up to the right-hand side of the steering wheel.

Integrated into the touchscreen.A whole lot is missing from the dash too
I can't tell from that picture, even enlarging it is too fuzzy.
Where are the radio buttons.
The heat and air conditioning buttons
Kind of looks like it, doesn't it?Integrated into the touchscreen.
Yes. All have an 8" display digital dash now.And it seems the instrument panel display has changed as well?
I was going to comment that voice commands for temperature and such would be cool if they work. Maybe it just takes a little practice/learning. I know when I started using voice commands to call people or do voice to text with my 22 Maverick, it didn't always go well, but now it's considerably better.Ford saved cost by removing those physical controls. Which it seems everyone in the industry has been doing this design cycle. It's widely acknowledged to be inherently unsafe, but it is what it is. Just one of many links on the subject. Some automakers (VW) are already reversing course on touch controls after customers revolted.
Automakers make all kinds of BS FUD about these changes. One of my favorite is "Oh, you can change the temperature with voice commands". Which typically leads to "Rerouting you to Paris".
You mean, like apple maps has done in the past? And if it ever reroutes you to Paris (or anywhere that's accessible only by water), don't listen to it.
I don't want to have to look at the display, then figure out what some stupid icon means, then press it 100 times, hoping it does, in fact, adjust the fan. If it's hot as blazes, all I want to do is reach for the fan dial control and crank it to the right, without having to look down at the damned thing.Press fan cycles between speeds.

This touchscreen bullshit and the fugly piece of plastic slapped onto the headlights that looks like some sort of aftermarket eye patch, has killed at least one order for a '25 MY Maverick.
Automakers are typically unethical, so making cars less safe to save a few dollars is the norm as long as they can get away with it. You can see from the closer press images its more spread out than this demo has, so extra buttons compared to this, or just wider buttons?I don't want to have to look at the display, then figure out what some stupid icon means, then press it 100 times, hoping it does, in fact, adjust the fan.
