Mysterious Front End Clunk [5/15/26 - Might be the Rear?]

I've been hearing a clunk/snap sound from what sounds like both front wheels. I usually only hear it at low speeds such as entering/leaving parking spots or my driveway. I had it at the dealership today and two techs drove it and heard the noise but neither could determine what's causing it. I assumed it would be the CV axles but maybe it's something else? '24 XLT Ecoboost with 25,500 miles and completely stock. Here is a video where you'll hear it twice.

No it's completely stock. I added that detail to my original post.

The techs just drove your vehicle? That's all ? Did they have it on a lift and inspect all the front end components?

They inspected it while on a lift and on the ground. It was in for an oil change and tire rotation as well.

I would guess intermediate shaft (steering) or Swaybar links.

I've been listening more closely for this sound and it might be coming from the rear... I took a look and there appears to be a leak where the driver's side axle goes into the RDU. A picture of the passenger side is for comparison.

Seeping aint leaking. Prepare yourself for that dealer response.

I have an appointment with the dealer in a couple of weeks so I'll see what they say but I took a closer look at the RDU and there's some "gunk" build up where it's leaking.

Ask the service tech confirm that the RDU is "full" of fluid.

I would assume the “parking lot maneuvers” never got done that’s why they couldn’t recreate the noise. Typical
