My XL With Mods

Just wrapped up a few minor upgrades to my xl that got delivered a few months back. Gonna be leaving this at a cabin we own so we'll have a reliable vehicle to use, so didnt want to spend a lot of $...Pretty happy with it....paid $21,500 and spent $1900 on rims, tires, run boards, 1.5"level, tailgate lettering/gas assist, and upgraded floormats. Now its something I'm proud to drive around! Wish I'd gone with 245's instead of 235's, but didnt know at that point if they'd fit...will go bigger when these wear out.

Floor Mats - Rough Country Front and Rear Ford Maverick 4WD (2022). Fits all models, not just 4WD. These are awesome mats and fit perfect

Running Boards- RealTruck IAS-40-16020 Ionic 4" Curved Black Nerf Bars

Tailgate Lettering and gas shock tailgate assist- Ford, used rewards points

Is it easy to install the sidebar or the step bar on both sides?

Is yours a hybrid? If so, did you have a problem mounting the two S bolts in the center position on the passenger side? How did you solve the problem?

You can also set the time to run to 5, 10, or 15 minutes. Also the App does allow you to shut down the truck.

Very nice! Could you give us some more info about installing the running boards? Was it difficult to cut the liner? Did anything else need to be done? Problem with the S bolts as others have said?

Reason I ask is I had an aftermarket remote start on my Honda CRZ. On more than one occasion I went to my car and found it running who knows for how long. But again it was aftermarket.

That was most likely because someone close by had the same code programmed for their remote starter. Happens with garage doors too. Years ago if the ground was wet the signal would bounce and activate a bunch.

Yeah this one had a long range too. Was never sure how long it ran for. Never had it shut off on its own.

Robert, i actually had the shop that mounted and balanced the tires put the running boards on. They only charged me $65 for that portion of the job, so im guessing it didnt cause them too much grief! But i don't know

Update: as of 5pm yesterday evening, my new maverick xl with mods with 500 miles was 100% submerged because of fucking Ian. Our family made it through safe and sound, but every vehocle in our neighborhood is destroyed, including our three. Guess ill have to wait a year to replace

The nerf bar mounting system utilizing S-bolt anchors appear to have a problem only with hybrids. The two central mounting locations on the passenger side are obstructed by the main battery. RealTruck indicates theirs are not appropriates for hybrids. I contacted them recently
and was informed that they are unaware whether the manufacturer will modify the anchoring systems to fit hybrids.
