Howdy there, I just got a new 2024 Hybrid Maverick Lariat with Black Appearance Package, Sunroof, Tonneu Cover, etc.
I chose the 2024 because the savings and I only need a FWD. The front of the 2025, AWD and new tablet are nice but I cannot see me paying on extra $7K plus to get those updates.
I already added the Roof racks, auto dimmed rear view mirror with a compass, dash camera, OEM Bed extender, tinted windows.
Will add splash guard next week as well.
I added a ad a fuse in fuse #3 to connect the rear view mirror and dash camera. I couldn't believe the price on this Maverick with no decent auto dimmed mirror.
It is my first Ford in a few decades. I really enjoy the size and specially the MPG.
I'll be doing my oil changes since my local stealership charges around $155, (yes, I asked them if they have to removed the engine for that price).
I was really looking at a Vera Cruz but the MPG and the issues with their trannies was a turned off.
The sticker price was over $39,300. I paid $33K plus $899 stealership fees.
Mods I'll add in the future is a 12 Volt DC socket in the bed, custom decal on the hood and I might try to installed a Toyota tablet in the future.
I always done lots of mods to all my vehicles, like rear sensors, fog lights, etc. But this Maverick has almost everything I need, even the hitch.
So far so good.
