Just wrapped up a few minor upgrades to my xl that got delivered a few months back. Gonna be leaving this at a cabin we own so we'll have a reliable vehicle to use, so didnt want to spend a lot of $...Pretty happy with it....paid $21,500 and spent $1900 on rims, tires, run boards, 1.5"level, tailgate lettering/gas assist, and upgraded floormats. Now its something I'm proud to drive around! Wish I'd gone with 245's instead of 235's, but didnt know at that point if they'd fit...will go bigger when these wear out.

Full mods list:

Wheels and Tires- RimsOutlet- the customer support here is awesome, and they guarantee proper fit and free shipping

Motive Rims 430B Maestro 17x17.5

Lug Nuts - Premium Spline Hardware System (black) - need b/c the stock lugs will not fit

Hancock Tires Dynapro AT2 RF11. 235/65/17 (should have gone 245)

1.5" lift- HRG Offroad 1.5 inch (38mm) Front Leveling Kit for 2022 Ford Maverick (all)

Floor Mats - Rough Country Front and Rear Ford Maverick 4WD (2022). Fits all models, not just 4WD. These are awesome mats and fit perfect

Running Boards- RealTruck IAS-40-16020 Ionic 4" Curved Black Nerf Bars

Tailgate Lettering and gas shock tailgate assist- Ford, used rewards points

Thanks, hope this helps!

Looks great! One thing to consider, you might want to have a battery tender on the Mav or disconnect the ground cable before you leave it. I work in parts at a Ford dealership, occasionally I sell a couple of dozen batteries because the sales dept hadn't been starting vehicles up regularly. After sitting on the lot just a few weeks, many batteries are dead for good.

Cannon- thanks for the input..I was thinking of adding little solar trickle charger while I'm gone, should i detach the ground wire? Or can i charge with everything attached? Thanks

You shouldn't need one since these trucks have a BMS (Battery Management System) on them. It is a black rectangular thingie that is attached to the negative battery cable right at the terminal. It is supposed to monitor all the electric inputs and outputs and selectively shut them down when the battery voltage reads a certain level to keep the battery from being drained beyond the ability to crank over the engine. Unless you wire around it or it somehow misses a parasitic drain you shouldn't need one. The only other situation it might not stop is computer systems may ocassionally come out of sleep mode and the logic allows it to draw a miniscule amount that may take months to take down an otherwise charged battery.

Is yours a hybrid? If so, did you have a problem mounting the two S bolts in the center position on the passenger side? How did you solve the problem?

Always wondered this. Can you remote stop it?
Someone was talking about this earlier this week. Apparently it will auto-shutdown after 15 minutes. Best to confirm in your owners manual though lol.

Reason I ask is I had an aftermarket remote start on my Honda CRZ. On more than one occasion I went to my car and found it running who knows for how long. But again it was aftermarket.
