My review after 144 miles:
Cons:
I can’t seem to get my USB for the entertainment center to work. I discovered that I had a formatting error when I transferred my music, but I seemed to have fixed it, but I still can’t leave it in the slot and have it pick up where it left off. Sometimes it works and sometimes it removes it from the screen and I have to shut down the truck, turn the key off, open the door to reset everything then remove the usb. Then start all over again. The problem with that is it doesn’t begin where I left off. I’ll figure it out, or maybe there is an update that needs to be done. I just don’t know and frankly right now I’m tired of thinking about it.
The entertainment screen shows every little fingerprint. However, I have stored a cloth in the cubby next to it and that solves that problem.
I don’t like the Auto Hold feature. It seems to jerk the car when I push the petal for gas. I’ve disabled that.
That is all for now. I haven’t actually had it long enough to see if there are any more dislikes.
Pros:
I had concerns about the quality of the radio and that was put to rest. I find the sound is just fine for me and my ears. I won’t be upgrading my speakers. The sound is even better than my Escape.
I love the Auto High beams. I’ve never had a vehicle with this feature before.
I like the storage under the rear seat. I don’t have young children needing car seats so the back seat will remain pretty much vacant so access to the back seat will be used many times.
I’ve had the Collision alert go on last night. It was when a Semi was approaching me and it had many lights on and 2 cars behind it as well. I’m not sure why it went off but it scared the bejesus out of me. It was in its lane and I was in mine. I didn’t like that I had to take my eyes off the road to read the screen as to why buzzers and lights were flashing. I still don’t know why except, maybe all the headlights? At least I know it works
I like the blind side indicators in the side mirrors. Very helpful. I haven’t activated the lane assist so I can’t speak of that.
I bought the Motorola wireless dongle, but frankly I’m not sure I need it, but time will tell. I don’t drive far on a daily basis so it may be just as easy for me to plug my phone in when I need Android Auto. I used it when I couldn’t get my USB music to work and liked it so it does its job.
Cyber Orange is a great color. It is more orange than yellow. It is more orange than the road paint on the road. It looks yellow when it is by itself, but next to yellow things you can see more orange. The name is not what I would have called it. Maybe Orange Pepper Orange.
After the 144 miles, I have 42.8 MPG. My last trip was 25 min. long, 13.4 miles in length, my MPG was 49.4 MPG and 6.4 miles in Electric. Yahoo!
That’s all I have for now. I love the thing. You will too.
