I asked in another thread but I’ll ask again. Are these the only ones that don’t touch the paint? I’m not so interested in the ones that need the clear tape to protect the paint. Just seems jenky to me.

I believe the RockBlox clear the painted area also, from what I've heard. I think they are basically flat. Don't know any others. The Mabetts are working great for me.

I have them but no truck yet, but I am informed that they do cover. I rejected Weathertech because they are ridiculously expensive, just like their bug deflector

The set of Mabett flaps I have do not cover that gap.. very disappointing

The Mabetts do not cover the vertical void and I knew they would not. No flaps will cover the horizonal area behind the tire. I plan to fashion an aluminum panel to address this and the vertical area.

I did not think that the Weathertechs covered that void either. I could be wrong, but I don't believe so.

I’m unsure about how much the Westhertech covers but the pictures show the left rear flap has more coverage than the right. I’m a retired sheet metal guy so it wouldn’t be difficult to fab something in metal or plastic. I’ve seen in some post(s) that they do cover but without actually seeing it I wouldn’t pay the premium.
