24 Lariat Tremor. 1000 miles. All city driving. 22Mpg.
Thanks!
With my 245/65R17's I get around 24 winter, 28 summer. That's on 91 and an occasional no ethanol fill up once every quarter or so. Also, in Montana mountains, but most my trips are fairly short. Last year I drove less than 6k miles in the Maverick.
thanks for the information.
Our mpg is even with ethanol which is pretty unavoidable here

So here is the dilemma..

We are contemplating selling our tremor XLT awd to carmax this month and reordering a tremor lariat to get some features my bf wants.
It drives great. We don’t care what the eep owner social media posts say about off-roadThe most off-road we had is the church parking lot before it was paved so can’t see what that matters to us anyway lol

The issue is that it has had zero issues and gets 27 plus overall mpg even with mountain driving.
We don’t want to get a surprise with new one.
What mpg are other owners getting overall?
Almost 28mpg in suburban driving with the 2.0, 4wd and 4k tow package. Might be a little less in the winter.

Don't know why a hybrid isn't an option for you unless you DO some serious off roading or towing, but I'll get anywhere from 25-60 MPG around town, and generally 38-40 on the highway consistently at 75 MPH. Hybrid Lariat. I'm only in NORMAL driving mode, I didn't see any difference in ECO so I stopped bothering to change it.

Very short drives around town (1-5 miles) yield the 25-35 MPG. Longer (10-20) around town drives yield up to 60.

I havean Escape (which is what the Maverick is based upon) with same engine drivetrain and almost always (except when towing) get 27+ as you said. Even towing 2 snowmobiles in a clamshell trailer I get 13 to 17, depending on how fast I am traveling. Still waiting on my 2024 Lariat, though hoping it will roll over to a 2025. lol

I have an XLT Tremor and usually average 23-24. But at higher elevation the truck seemed to like it better. I was getting 27.5 mpg at elevation over 5500

I have a 2024 Maverick XLT Off-Road. With less than 1000 miles I'm averaging just under 20 mpg in town. I don't know what freeway mileage will be yet. I'm a modest driver. I'm curious how other EcoBoost owners manage to get such good mileage.

27 mpg on the display screen, but I wonder if that is really correct.

My front wheel drive Hybrid doesn't fit your description, but if they come out with an all-wheel drive Hybrid, why not take a look as I currently am getting 36.4 MPG which is down because of heavy A/C use. That is intown driving as hiway driving drops to about 31 mpg. Good luck on your potential new Lariat, I love my 23 Lariat Lux but that package has changed.

We are curious too because our vehicle is a tremor package. we do drive it in town, have to wait sometimes to get out of parking lots and there is mountain driving and 102 temps this week.

27 plus for over 5k miles. Calculated appears to match, but will check it again in the heat.

We are 3000 or under generally. But that’s good information. Thanks.

23 XLT Tremor with 5300 Miles is at 28.6 MPG. Mostly rural 2 lane road driving. Last few fillups have been averaging 31 +- MPG. I use 91 octane no ethanol and probably drive a little faster than I should and my off road is my 1/2 mile gravel driveway!

I think you will find way more MPG variation between drivers, season of the year, fuel blends vs. the MPG variation engine to engine.
I agree. I've been playing around to see what MPG I can average in my hybrid. It will reliably exceed 50 under "ideal" conditions but this number drops quickly when I add any detractors like short trips, running the heater or AC, rapid acceleration, towing, headwinds, climbing hills, or at higher speeds on the freeway. So... I doubt there is any magic to your current truck. e.g. The magic is in YOU! I've found that using the radio does not seem to affect my MPG enough to measure. LOL
