She may only be a 300cc but she is fun and bulletproof. Unfortunately I’m trying to sell her

Back in the day, I had a 1990 VFR400R or NC30, it was a blast to ride... Imported it from Australia

Can this forum handle this many pictures in a post? Let's find out!

1978 Kawasaki KH400 (going under the knife for engine work this winter), and my 1985 VF750F (to be started after the KH400 is running again) that almost matches my '07. The little green '78 G3SS in the middle got parted out.

And then on top of this calamity, I'm itching to pick up a Zero DSR for next season.
You're the first I know to have a Livewire!! How do you like it? You said it's your daily ride, how many days can you get on a single charge? How many miles? Very cool bike!

1949 Panhead chopper. Got it on 1984 as several milk crates filled with parts, a bent frame and an engine. Took me several years to build it myself, and it's been a good short ride bike this whole time.

As a matter of fact I'm thinking about how to haul it in the bed of the new maverick.. I'm thinking of a 8 ft heavy sheet of plywood (notched to fit around the wheel wells and flat on the bed) attached down to the front of the truck bed and then

a load extender bar in the receiver hitch (adjusted to bed level with the tailgate down) to add support to the far end of plywood... hoping to have a longer bed area without putting excessive weight on the tailgate... And avoiding pulling a trailer. Just my first idea.

Cool bike!!! I wish Harley would bring back the Panhead as a modern engine, to me it is a visual work of art!! You idea of putting the bike in the back of your Maverick so doable, I just wonder how much weight you would have on the tailgate/receiver hitch. Out of curiosity what is the weight of your bike? I was thinking of doing the same thing you're talking about doing, but with my Road King Special at nearly 1k# I'm concerned that there would be too much weight on the tailgate. I'll probably just opt out and use a small trailer when I need to.

The Panhead is less than 700 lb for sure maybe a bit less than that. I think to make this work (with a tailgate and receiver hitch both rated for a max of 400 lb each) I will temporarily attach the heavy duty plywood (reinforced?) to the very front of the bed floor (not tie-downs) so that weight on the far end will be not extreme due to the stiffness of the base. At this point I'm just spitballing, but I can't think of anything different right now, and I want to avoid the trailer if at all possible.
