Year one 24 Taco has less than 5. First year Maverick Hybrid, 10 recalls and 3 customer satisfaction programs, and counting. Before making fun of Toyota, might want to get a reality check.

Here’s an alternate way of waiting the truck.
I ordered a truck August 15, 2023.
Took delivery of the truck 2-8-2025.

I received one email from Ford when they gave me a production date. I had no other correspondence from them after that.
I thought it would take six months to get it. I got it in about 5 months.

Ford does indeed royally suck at keeping their customers informed. And they suck even more knowing where their vehicles are.

I’m glad I waited and I’m glad I took on the attitude of just letting it happen. I really like my truck. I have never been so patient for anything in my life. I must be getting old.

Job 2 might have a slow start. My order tracker updated to "in production" on Feb 5th. It's been sitting there without any updates since then. I wouldn't be surprised if there was an issue in production causing a slow down.

Waited 13 month and 5 days for my 24 Lariat EB, but once I got a build date it only changed once, moved up a week.

Becoming a Maverick owner requires patience. 3/17 is the build week, not necessarily the exact day and it might change again.
Adding in transport time, you're looking at end of April at the earliest for delivery.
Still faster than most Maverick owners from prior years. XL has always had higher demand than production capacity. That looks to be still the case in 2025.

Ordered Nov 2, 2024 and initially told by dealer maybe I would have it by Christmas!
After I ordered it I was then told the build would be 1/6/25. Build was one week later with no notification.
Then told it would be shipped on 1/20.
After 1/20 was told it would be shipped 1/27. Now being told it's shipped but arrival will be in April or May/25.
I just bought a Chevy.

However! The Module Build Data (as built) page came alive today with real data, so I'm confident it's actually getting built now! I'm expecting it to switch to built status within the next few days!

Yep, one can look back at the history ever since MY22 and the XL's never got much love from ford production, their production numbers have always been the lowest and harder to get in a timely manner. I assume ford focuses more on higher trim levels for the cash flow?

My XLT was built last week and was live by Friday. It looks like Ford does not change the status to built until it is actually loaded onto a convoy truck or rail car.

My 2025 XLT took 4 months and 5 days to hit the dealership in Washington state to give you a possible timeframe but that was indeed before the chaos of the tariffs Talks.
