Production delays

Ordered Lariat Hybrid, FE, Lux Pkg, CoPillot 360 on 7/26/21 - My first production date was week of May 16th, since then I've had like eight additional push backs - My Salesman told me ten days ago that my Mavrick was built, just waiting for the factory to ship. However when I call Ford CS, last week they told me production week of July 4th, then yesterday I called & they tell me production July 7th & also gave me an ETA of August 1st. They did not tell me that it was shipped or on a rail car, but why would they be able to give me an ETA if not shipped??? I went to the secondary (not Ford) "Ordertrack" & I noticed it indicated RAIL - CONVOY. Haven't seen that before - Is that an indicator that it might be shipped? Looks like for sure it will be well over a year since order placed before I receive, but one pushback after another is very frustrating. And I'm no Spring Chicken anymore, at 84 years old, I'd like to be able to enjoy my Maverick while I can.

Because you have me by about six years, I will consider you my elder. OrderTrack has been the most reliable for me. OrderTrack has categories at the top: "Order Confirmed", "in production", "built" which will become "awaiting transportation", then
"in transit" and finally "delivered. If it your category is now Order Confirmed, then In Production should show up during your build week if it is not moved back. When it is "In production" it is being built and you can check "View Modules". When you get a whole list of modules, your vehicle is basically built and you will get the build category in a day or two and will move into "awaiting transportation.


The rail icon is black from the beginning and means nothing until it is loaded on a train and is "in transit" and then you can begin tracking it again.

I believe this is pretty much right; others may know more.
