Ordered 7/18. Want to deletes plash guards read about supply thing. Also delete full size spare and change color. Don't want any more delays thans already there

as far as I know, you can modify your order until you’re scheduled for production? However, I don’t know if anything changes regarding your place in line.

Call your salesperson or sales manager and have whatever items changed/deleted. This is possible until Ford issues a VIN for your build and shouldn't affect when your vehicle is built, unless something you deleted was a constraint item. In that case, it may (or may not) keep from delaying your build.

Even after in some cases it is possible so long as you aren't changing body code/powertrain. But it's up to the factory if they accept the changes at that point.

It's crazy but it might speed up the process taking the splash guards off. Seems they've been saying that ever since the truck started production, along with all the other misc accessories that's easily done after delivery - DIY or dealer installed. Shouldn't be any issue doing that, changing color and anything else you want as long as its not scheduled for production as far as I know.

I did see posts saying splash guards will delay your order being built.
Call your dealership and have them taken off the order.

Be more specific. Did you order a 2024? Was it a 2023 rollover? A new 2024 order can be changed. Many dealers just entered the basics for 2024 orders in case the banks closed quickly knowing they could come back later and fine tune it. For 2024 orders you can make most changes up to the VIN being created but it is better to make changes early then leave the order alone.
If it was a 2023 rollover you should be able to make minor changes but after Ford changes the priority code to a 2 I'm not sure if a change can be made at that point.

It can be. Dealer just needs to request the order unlocked to edit, make the changes, and then have it reset to Priority 2.

fresh 24 order
not even sure what splash guards are. i figured went in wheel wells.
saw a post where the dealer left a splash guard off after an oil change though

Your right. For the wheel wells to protect the paint or the sides of the truck from the wheels kicking up rocks. I had the dealer do it after Ford delivered the truck.
