Me too. My dash clatters over every tar strip or pothole. Combined with the satanic high pitched wind whistle from somewhere around the a-pillar, I’m slowly starting to regret not getting another Honda if I’m honest. I will say that although Ford build quality is disappointing, they do A/C a lot better. The A/C kicks butt in the Maverick than any Honda I’ve ever owned.
You would think with this being the 4th year of the Maverick and a refresh they would have fixed the dash rattles...
Exactly what I was thinking when I bought it.
For wind noise, here's what I'd try :
Rattle all gone!!! A couple weeks ago I used double stick Scotch tape with 1/2 x 1 1/2 inch strips of craft felt. I removed the lower cluster trim and then removed the hood over the instrument cluster and applied the tape and strips on all the metal clips and around the edges of the hood. NOTE that the cluster's hood is removed by pulling the hood backward toward you and the steering wheel. The illustrations were unclear regarding the orientation of the clips and I thought the hood was removed by pushing the hood upward toward the windshield and I broke off one of the tabs on the right side. No matter, the rattle is gone so all is good.
