Minor defects

Anybody else have a minor defect they've chosen just to live with rather than bring it back to the Dealership? Mine is a small (but annoying) dashboard rattle...

Mine is too new yet to pick out anything that is wrong or needs attention. Did your dash rattle when you got it or did that develop over time?

The same dashboard rattle.

There's a TSB for it but it didn't fix my issue.

Just the darn rattle. Radio volume knob is my fix so far.

I have a rattle on the passenger side and I think I’m just gonna live with it.

Last few times I took the truck in to get things fixed, it ended up causing more problems like stained cloth upholstery and broken plastic trim. One of those visits was just to fix a rubbing window sound. At this point, I’d rather deal with a minor rattle than risk more damage from a service visit.

Any tips on getting these little things fixed without it turning into a bigger headache?

My 25 has a dash rattle that is driving me crazy.. If I just put light pressure above the digital gauge cluster it stops… Why can’t Ford build vehicles without dash rattles.. My 07 mustang gt also had a dash rattle that drove me crazy. My 22 Maverick also had a stupid dash rattle… My 1994 Toyota Corolla was silent, my 94 and 99 Jeep Cherokee XJs were silent and my 08 Kia Sorento was silent.

Weatherstripping over the driver's door was installed wrong, and wrinkled. I straightened it best I could, it doesn't leak, so I ignore how weird it looks.

Mine doesn't have a single rattle, and there's NO WAY I'm getting the '25 passenger airbag light recall done - I'm worried they'd F-up the fix, break or scratch panels and (most likely) create rattles where there were none

The clamp bracket and hinge bracket on the visors seem very loose.
I have a feeling thru continued use they'll have a problem down the road.
Dealer said they compared another one and it was the same.
I'm doubting them.

Dash rattles here too, from the two speaker grills. I popped them loose but in order to remove them and see what's going on you have to take off the A pillar covers, which I plan to do soon.

Go ahead get it done. It's literally a 5 minute fix. Just pop loose one trim piece. Put install the reinforcement clips, and snap it back into place. They'd literally have to TRY to damage that small trim piece. I don't think I even had to use a tool, just my hands.

Had a rattle in my previous Bronco Sport.
A pop sickle stick shoved in a cavity fixed it perfectly.

I'm with you 100% on this one. Dash in my 2001 Crown Vic rattled, 2007 Ford 500 rattled, my Wife's 2010 Focus rattled...all good cars with this same annoying trait. That said, my 2015 Jeep Patriot was silent, and my Wife's current car...2021 Subaru Imprezza....silent...

What ever it is... Get if fixed, before it becomes a bigger issue. I bitched about a squawk in my dash every time I brought my 88 Bronco II in to the dealer... Same excuse, cannot find... Finally when the warranty was about to expire, I left it there and said, you have till you find and fix or I will hit you with the lemon law... They found but by that time major damage was done. They had to pull the dash and even the windshield (which they broke) to get to a bad weld that was rubbing to the point that they had to reconstruct the joint..
