A strange thing happened this evening. Drove the Maverick out to dinner. No issues. Drove back home. Parked in the driveway. No issues. Everything was lit up and running like normal. Closed the door and hit the remote to lock the truck, and no response. Strange I thought. Went back outside and tried the remote again. Still no response. Opened the door only for none of the interior lights to come on. Put the key in the ignition and turned it. No response. Door locks don't respond on the interior either. After 13 months and 11,500 miles suddenly the truck is completely dead. (And only hours after posted that I had no buyer's remorse and that the truck had exceeded all my expectations!)
Obviously calling Ford and the dealer tomorrow. Does Ford's roadside service cover towing? Is this sudden deadness an issue anyone else has encountered?
Thanks for any helpful and/or informative replies.
