Maverick vs Buffalo Snow Storm 😳

Someone posted this on Facebook from Buffalo, NY. It was 50° here in Central Alabama and I was wearing gloves.

This is my Maverick! I'm actually in Natural Bridge, NY off the East end of Lake Ontario. We had 72.9 inches of snow from the recent storm and also had nearly a foot before that storm hit. This was my Maverick before I got close enough to it to dig it out.

I can't tell if thats a bed cover or not but if it is it held up well too.

It's my Maverick. I've got a hard folding bed cover from Rough Country. Thankfully it supported all that weight. The snow was heavy wet stuff. We got 72.9 inches of it here in Natural Bridge, NY just off the East End of Lake Ontario.

Honeoye got pretty much nothing. All of that snow ran along lake Erie and pounded Orchard Park the worst. I live on the east side of Rochester and there is zero snow but it is freezing cold. I think I need to move south.

Honeoye got what I referred to as "the fishbowl effect" where we lived closer to the lake and had to drive uphill to get out, so it stayed slightly warmer. Yeah, got out in 2012 and left on a cold November 5th day. It started snowing as we were leaving on East Lake Road. Don't miss that cold one bit, but I do miss those Fall skies and hiking in the woods.

Sooooo jealous of all these snow pictures. Could ya'll just pull out with your truck full of snow and bring some of it to us poor unfortunates in Alabama? I love snow, we so rarely get any, and entire state shuts down in a panic if we even get 1/64".

I used to live outside of Pittsburgh, my aunt lives in Erie. Gotta be honest, I do not miss snow at all.

That tri fold is great, you should send them pictures for their Social Media.
