That is correct. These systems developed on the Tremor WILL fit non-Tremor Mavericks equipped with 2.0L AWD

Will this pass safety inspections? Straight through so where is the muffler? Looks removed along with the resonator. Doesn't a engine require a muffler to provide some back pressure to the engine. Will this cause the computer to throw engine code lights. I love it but don't want issues in the truck. What about the warranty from Ford. I would think any issue Ford will blame on the non-factory exhaust system.

There are two SideKick Options one WITH a muffler (Trail Rated) & without a muffler (King Of The Hill)

With Turbo vehicles the turbo itself is creating a small amount of backpressure as well as the stock muffler. However for turbo applications it is more efficient to reduce backpressure making it easier for the turbo to spool.

Your emissions hardware is not being tampered with or removed so you will still be emissions compliant.

None of our MRT Exhaust options for the Maverick and Maverick Tremor will throw any codes as no sensors are changed or manipulated. This is a simple plug and play install.

As far as your factory warranty you are good to go. You will not have any issues.

The only difference will be an adjusted hanger to raise the tip presentation up a little more. In regards to sound the final system will sound just like the video above.

I installed the Trail Sidekick yesterday. Is the tip supposed to contact the pinch weld? I was unable to position it to avoid contact. Since cutting off the stock exhaust is step 1, backing up wasn't an option.

so, guys, several people bought the MRT sidekick and one asked a question about fitment.

how's it going for everyone? install easily, fits well without contact? and did anyone buy the king of the hill, or all trail-rated? (I for one, would go for a muffler... but I'm still curious for any feedback.)

I bought the trail rated and repositioned the muffler slightly to clear the pinch weld after installing it yesterday. The installation is fairly easy if you can get the truck in the air (I have a QuickJack). It sounds very good. Throatier and a bit louder than stock, but far from being obnoxious or having the fartbox tuner sound. I haven't taken it out on the highway yet, but I don't expect any issues.
