Today marks the kickoff of an exhilarating journey as we embark on developing game-changing upgrades for the 2024 Maverick Tremor.

Ford Maverick MAVERICK TREMOR EXHAUST UNDER DEVELOPMENT - MRT Performance 20240326_115026
Ford Maverick MAVERICK TREMOR EXHAUST UNDER DEVELOPMENT - MRT Performance 20240326_111319 (1)

Our first order of business: designing a side exit exhaust system. This isn't just any exhaust – it's engineered for maximum clearance. As we craft the prototype, our primary focus is on elevating ground clearance while delivering an awe-inspiring sound profile. Expect meticulous evaluation and fine-tuning as we strive for perfection.

Once we've mastered the side exit design, our attention will shift to a full exhaust system. While the stock exhaust provides a baseline, our goal is to offer improvements in clearance. Negotiating the tight confines around the rear axle presents a challenge we're eager to tackle head-on. Trust us, our team is committed to finding innovative solutions to maximize both performance and clearance.

But wait, there's more – we're all about options tailored to your preferences. That's why we're planning to provide multiple sound options with our exhaust systems, ensuring each Maverick Tremor owner finds their ideal match.

Join us on this thrilling journey as we push the boundaries of innovation and performance for the Maverick Tremor. Keep an eye out for updates and exclusive behind-the-scenes insights as we transform vision into reality.

For those who've been with us on this journey, we're excited to offer a sneak peek of MRT's latest creation: the all-new Trail Rated Side Kick Exhaust. Take a glimpse into what's to come by watching the video below. You'll get to experience a drive-by, hear some revs, and even get a taste of the in-cabin ambiance. Don't miss out! This is your first look before we make our official product announcement on Maverick Truck Club.

Picture this: at idle, there's a subtle yet distinct exhaust presence, providing a pleasant background whir that's neither too loud nor too soft. Engineered for minimal drone and a smooth driving experience, this option delivers a sporty yet subdued performance sound, with a hint of turbo whoosh and EcoBoost whistle. It's the perfect balance of refinement and excitement for your off-road adventures. The sound of the Trail Rated Side Kick is a bump over stock, but very reasonable, allowing you to still hear the road noise of the Maverick as you cruise.

Stay tuned!!!

Oh wow, that's fantastic! This is really the kind of sound of sound I was looking for. I realize it's your prototype but it's subtle, not raspy, and doesn't have the tone I've seen in other designs.

If the production version keeps this same sound profile, I'll be one of the first in line to order.

Thanks!

The only difference will be an adjusted hanger to raise the tip presentation up a little more. In regards to sound the final system will sound just like the video above.

We are working to set up preorders in the upcoming days. As long as everything goes to plan we should be ready to ship all of the new Tremor options NEXT WEEK.

How many options will there be? I'm not a fan of the exhaust coming out of the side in front of the rear wheel.

I have to say I wasn't thinking about changing the exhaust on my Tremor but after seeing and hearing this I might just have to get one. Hopefully we will be getting a MTC discount.

Now, let's take a look at the preliminary footage of the alternative exit exhaust we're developing. Introducing the King Of The Hill Side Kick exhaust system, designed for optimal ground clearance and an unparalleled sound experience. The Maverick owner, who made a remarkable 10-hour journey from Boston, Massachusetts to Plymouth, Michigan to kickstart this development, has opted to stick with this exhaust option for their Tremor model.

Official Description:
For Tremor owners craving maximum sound and ground clearance, we present the King Of The Hill Side Kick. This non-muffled exhaust system is designed to make a statement, turning heads both on and off the road. With its raw, unfiltered sound, the King Of The Hill Side Kick ensures that you'll be heard wherever your adventures take you. It's the ultimate choice for those seeking an aggressive, commanding presence.

Any idea on what you'll be pricing the muffled side exit at?

I'm liking the sound of that one versus the KOTH model, video makes it seem like there's just a bit too much exhaust sound coming into the cabin for my taste but that could be just due to it being a YouTube video, could sound way better in person.

Thanks!

We are still finalizing pricing but both sidekicks will be very reasonable. Similar to our current Ranger Sidekick.

The King Of The Hill exhaust undeniably commands attention with its elevated exhaust presence. Its sound is consistently bold and assertive, ensuring a captivating auditory experience at all times. On the other hand, the Trail Rated SideKick offers a more subtle exhaust presence, emitting a steady hum that adds a pleasant backdrop to your drive. What sets it apart is the straight-through design of its resonator, allowing you to modulate the volume with ease. Whether cruising at steady speeds or idling, you'll enjoy a refined sound. However, when you're ready to unleash a surge of power, the Trail Rated SideKick responds with an intensified exhaust presence, eliminating any unwanted tones and delivering an exhilarating acceleration experience.

First Look at the King Of The Hill Full Length Exhaust

Our full-length King Of The Hill exhaust system is meticulously engineered to accommodate the larger differential on the Maverick Tremor, allowing for maximum ground clearance under the bed. But this exhaust offers more than just increased clearance - it's designed to deliver an exhilarating driving experience both on and off the road. Under wide-open throttle, the "King Of The Hill" exhaust unleashes a full-volume exhaust presence that resonates with power, yet maintains minimal drone. Behind the wheel, the driver enjoys a refined and immersive driving experience, free from any intrusive noise. With its aggressive sound profile and upward-directed exhaust flow, the "King Of The Hill" exhaust is the perfect choice for Maverick Tremor owners who demand uncompromising off-road performance without sacrificing on-road comfort and refinement.

Our Fourth and Final addition to the MRT Tremor Lineup.

The full-length Trail Rated exhaust system tucks in closer to the rear axle while providing an elevated exhaust presence that's refined and fitting of the Tremor. Designed for those who prioritize a comfortable in-cabin experience without sacrificing performance, this option offers increased ground clearance and a sophisticated exhaust note. A noticeable bump in exhaust presence over the OEM. This is a subtle refined exhaust that allows for an amazing in cabin experience. Family and road trip approved!

Will this pass safety inspections? Straight through so where is the muffler? Looks removed along with the resonator. Doesn't a engine require a muffler to provide some back pressure to the engine. Will this cause the computer to throw engine code lights. I love it but don't want issues in the truck. What about the warranty from Ford. I would think any issue Ford will blame on the non-factory exhaust system.
