Oh wow, that's fantastic! This is really the kind of sound of sound I was looking for. I realize it's your prototype but it's subtle, not raspy, and doesn't have the tone I've seen in other designs. For those who've been with us on this journey, we're excited to offer a sneak peek of MRT's latest creation: the all-new Trail Rated Side Kick Exhaust. Take a glimpse into what's to come by watching the video below. You'll get to experience a drive-by, hear some revs, and even get a taste of the in-cabin ambiance. Don't miss out! This is your first look before we make our official product announcement on Maverick Truck Club.
Picture this: at idle, there's a subtle yet distinct exhaust presence, providing a pleasant background whir that's neither too loud nor too soft. Engineered for minimal drone and a smooth driving experience, this option delivers a sporty yet subdued performance sound, with a hint of turbo whoosh and EcoBoost whistle. It's the perfect balance of refinement and excitement for your off-road adventures. The sound of the Trail Rated Side Kick is a bump over stock, but very reasonable, allowing you to still hear the road noise of the Maverick as you cruise.
Stay tuned!!!

If the production version keeps this same sound profile, I'll be one of the first in line to order.
Thanks!
There will be two side exit options as well as two full length exhaust options. How many options will there be? I'm not a fan of the exhaust coming out of the side in front of the rear wheel.
MTC Promo will be active!I have to say I wasn't thinking about changing the exhaust on my Tremor but after seeing and hearing this I might just have to get one. Hopefully we will be getting a MTC discount.
Any idea on what you'll be pricing the muffled side exit at?MTC Promo will be active!
We are still finalizing pricing but both sidekicks will be very reasonable. Similar to our current Ranger Sidekick.Any idea on what you'll be pricing the muffled side exit at?
I'm liking the sound of that one versus the KOTH model, video makes it seem like there's just a bit too much exhaust sound coming into the cabin for my taste but that could be just due to it being a YouTube video, could sound way better in person.
Thanks!
Will this pass safety inspections? Straight through so where is the muffler? Looks removed along with the resonator. Doesn't a engine require a muffler to provide some back pressure to the engine. Will this cause the computer to throw engine code lights. I love it but don't want issues in the truck. What about the warranty from Ford. I would think any issue Ford will blame on the non-factory exhaust system. We are still finalizing pricing but both sidekicks will be very reasonable. Similar to our current Ranger Sidekick.
The King Of The Hill exhaust undeniably commands attention with its elevated exhaust presence. Its sound is consistently bold and assertive, ensuring a captivating auditory experience at all times. On the other hand, the Trail Rated SideKick offers a more subtle exhaust presence, emitting a steady hum that adds a pleasant backdrop to your drive. What sets it apart is the straight-through design of its resonator, allowing you to modulate the volume with ease. Whether cruising at steady speeds or idling, you'll enjoy a refined sound. However, when you're ready to unleash a surge of power, the Trail Rated SideKick responds with an intensified exhaust presence, eliminating any unwanted tones and delivering an exhilarating acceleration experience.
