I am sure that they already are tons of posts about best replacement tires for the maverick but I cannot find them.
I ma going to have a 2025 XLT AWD Hybrid at the beginning of next year.
One of the first thing I want to do it to replace the tires.
I shall be driving mostly on pavement but I live in Utah so we get snow and I plan to drive on dirt and gravel roads to go visit the state of Utah.
I have been looking at tires and videos on YouTube. I like the maxis and falken but I think that they are overkill for what I need. For year s I have been using general snow tires which are very good.
Low road noise is important for me as well as punctures resistance especially side walls.
What do you recommend.
Thank you.

Nitto Nomad Grapplers were great on mine in Idaho. Lightweight for an AT type tire, great grip on multiple surfaces and 3PMS rated. Mine were awesome in multiple winters. They're also well mannered on pavement and have minimal impact to MPG if you're looking for something that isn't a dedicated winter tire.

Take a look at the Nokian APT. Mild AT tire with sideway protection, designed for mostly on road use. 3pms, from a winter tire company. I have the full AT version, the NaT.

Falken Wildpeak A/T Trail tires. They check the boxes you asked about and I would buy them again.

They work great on my FWD Hybrid in snow and my very long & steep gravel driveway. Low road noise and they also handle well on wet or dry pavement.

You can get them at Discount Tire or elsewhere.

Northern lower peninsula of Michigan here. We like the factory continentals. Good in snow and quiet on the road. 24,000 miles and still look like new.

Can I ask what size Trail you are running? I've been in contact with Falken, they make (2) different 235/65-17's, 1 is a 108H version (35#) and 1 is a OEM 104H version (104H). Surprisingly the 104H version is NOT 3-peak snow rated, but the heavier 108H version is.

To gain some ground clearance without out a lift, I would like to install the next size taller then the OEM which I believe would be 235/70/17, the original being 225/65R/17
