Just went online and signed up for a year at $6/month. Then I need to cancel before it goes to $18.99 and wait for them to contact me about renewing. I can do without it for a while at that time. Does anybody actually pay $18.99?

Haha!

If you're like us and you have it long enough, you'll eventually forget to do the 'I want a better deal' dance with them and then pay something like that for a month or two before you notice.

Does anyone know how the prepaid subscriptions work? I ordered a 23 hybrid Lariat and it apparently came with a navigation system. On fords website it says that there is a 5 year prepaid subscription. When I was signing all the paper work last night there was also a document that mentioned sirus radio for 3 years.
Thanks.
I think Ford calls it "Connected Navigation" it gives you real time updates on maps, traffic and weather reports displayed on screen. When driving a programed route it will change the routing based on traffic conditions. I let it expire on my F150 and the nav still works fine without the extras though I did miss the weather part for a couple seconds.

I bought the lifetime subscription in 2006. Wife said I was crazy. I get all the channels and can bluetooth or android auto to anything.
Also this, if I need to.

From what I've read thru Ford's online information a new Maverick only comes with 3 months free of Sirius XM radio? My wife and I have bought many new vehicles and I don't think it's ever been less than a year free. Our last two Jeeps and Rams I'm fairly sure were a year. My Rams I know were.

Is that a Ford thing or a Sirius XM thing? Perhaps all new vehicles now have a shorten "free" period, regardless of brand?

Getting to know the Mac, is a bit like getting to know a relative from a foreign country who doesn't speak much English. But we are getting there. Really love this truck. Couple things to add here. Base XLT, no options. An iPhone (my wife's typically) pairs with the screen. If she calls up Maps on the phone, and puts in a destination, the Mav screen picks up the phone map display. Shows where you are, what road turns you need coming up, what the traffic is, and even the speed limit of the road you are on. Phone can be answered on the screen, including decline calls. And for music we have a subscription to Apple Music, which is $11/month. I'm told the best music format for sound, incredible library you can choose from. And and it all connects seamlessly to Mac speakers. So that subscription works on devices at home and the truck.
