You can get ticketing in many states if you are impeding traffic flow - even if you’re cruising at the speed limit. Hopefully you’re not a lawbreaker!

Yeah, I've heard that before. There's a larger chance of receiving a speeding ticket. I'm rarely in the left lane because nobody is doing the speed limit anymore. Nobody is going to pay my ticket either, so I'll do the limit and enjoy the show.

I’ve never been one to speed or be in a big hurry while driving but, so far, I’ve noticed I love cruising in my Mav. Just taking it easy and enjoying the ride. It’s smooth, comfortable and easy to maneuver. Slow rolling is my new driving experience. Anyone else feel the same way?

100% agree! I'll do the speed limit or often a bit below. I'm usually in no hurry. Retirement does that to you. I've noticed more often those drivers who speed through traffic only for me wind up next to them at the light.

I'm too old to get in a hurry now days. I don't poke around like a grandma but I don't get in a hurry most of the time, enjoy the scenery I guess one one say, however, I have my moments I enjoy stomping on it and have some FUN with some spirited driving.

In my younger days I did a lot of stomping on the pedal and paid the price, that was 30/40 years ago, now I just keep up with traffic, but once in a while I get on the entrance ramp of a parkway tor expressway and you have to merge, theres something about that turbo and muffler sound of that Lobo that wants me to do it more offend, than I remember am going to be 75 next month, but every car/truck needs a Italian tune-up once in a while, so as long as am on the sunny side am going to keep doing it, it's part of proper maintenance.

I have owned PU Trucks for most of my life. The Ford Maverick Hybrid is the best and the most economical PU Truck I ever owned. The only way to beat it as of now, is if Ford can produce an economical Electric Version of the Maverick.

I agree...but I drive from Atlanta to Oregon (4,500-5,500 miles) almost every year and cover some remote dirt roads for 40-70 miles where there is no electric charging available...those little trips are the only thing keeping me from full-electric. Next door neighbor is on his 3rd Electric Leaf (Nissan) and says running out of electrical power is the least of his worries.

Shortage of elec batteries is currently holding back more EV availability.

I’m not sure I want a pure electric Maverick. I like the freedom of being able to drive hundreds of miles on a full tank and stop for 5 minutes to fill up.
