Maybe Ford should hire this guy to get into incredible bad situations with his new Mav, and attempt to get out of them..... could call the show "Survivor Maverick" or "Can The Maverick Do It"? šŸ™ƒ

I just read this myself, glad I searched before posting it šŸ˜„ definitely impressive!
Well he probably has a good excuse. He could easily say the back up mirror froze. Sure makes for a good story and the pictures are impressive as well.

Yeah I looked as well before posting. I didn't see it and thought it was definitely worth posting. Not sure I would brag to the press about it, then again maybe I would. It would be hard to admit though. LOL

Given that the battery is on the passenger side, right where the truck is stilling on the retaining wall, there is no way I would have tried to just drive it out in that scenario. Just stupid.

That's valid. However, does every hybrid owner know that the battery sits there? Only asking because as a EB owner I didn't know until reading the article that the battery was there. I would have tried it no matter what I was driving just because I'm the type to try before calling for help šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø granted, not saying that's always the right or smartest way to do it...but never said I was bright either šŸ˜†

I'd be willing to bet that most owners, besides some of the more inquisitive types, don't have a clue where the battery is.

I call Bullshit !

No friggen way !

The front tires even if diff locked would have spun like crazy and that Maverick would not have moved one single inch.

It’s an obvious fulcrum scenario and maybe
MAYBE the Tremor with everything locked up and the back tires in good contact with the edge might, maybe, possibly got a bite.

Naww, ain’t no way.
