memorial day military appreciation. I went thru the FORD website and used ID.me to verify my military status and got the email certificate for $1000 to bring to the dealer.
Damn, now I'm going to have to see if I can do the same and get that additional $500!! I just bought my Maverick on Memorial Day!! Is the dealership matching the Ford offer? I ask because on the Ford website they only show $500, nothing about an additional $500 for Memorial Day.

Stuff like paint ceramics, nitrogen in tires, undercoating, door edge guards, extended warranty - coulee be a good deal check Fllod Ford prices, window coating, Lo Jack, all will have a dealer processing fee - mine was $499.00. If it isn’t on the FORD provided window sticker (except dealer processing fee) it is optional dealer added on crap.compare the Window Stcker to the out the door price. Sounds like the only deltas should be the 4K ADM and Dealer Processing Fee. Personally if i wanted a 2022 Hybrid i would be willing to pay the 4K ADM since the price will go up for 2023.
thanks, man! I really appreciate the information. I might pull the trigger on it but like you said before i sign anything I will make sure i see all the line items on the purchase and sales agreement.

If you don't buy it. I know someone who will. As I am sure that others on here do as well.

hmm good question i have no idea. Im the one that inquired about a military discount and he told me i had to go thru the FORD website and print out the certificate email and once i did i just forwarded him the email and it will be applied to the price of the car.

Yeah, I did the same thing and just did it again and it's still $500. However, I've seen where individual Ford dealerships have matched the Ford bonus, but I see where yours if from Ford.com. Either way that $1k does take down the dealer markup a bit.

I have had my XLT hybrid for about 2 months and 4500 miles. Its been a solid truck so far, averaging about 43mpg with a combination of 70% highway 30% stop and go or country roads.

There are dealerships in Philly that were giving 4% off invoice for the 22MY, thats how some folks, myself included got their trucks below MSRP.

I guess the question is do you want the maverick now for $4k over MSRP, or can you wait 8-9 months? Order banks will open soon for the Hybrid and if you order through one of the Philly dealerships you could get it below MSRP. Chapman of Horsham (who I ordered through) is still advertising the 3% off invoice deal.

So buy now for 4k over MSRP or Wait till next Jan/feb for one $1-2k under invoice. One perk of ordering is you get all the options you want.

Wanted a truck again, I have used the bed about 15 times in 40 days. It is just so handy to be able to reach in without climbing or contorting the 67 y.o. bod.

Man, I would have snapped up that deal. Out here the Hybrid's, when they get them on the lot, are getting a 15k ADM. They are not lasting at that price either.

The way I see it, is that you have to ask yourself (and anyone else involved) how badly do you NEED a hybrid? If you need a hybrid and can't wait AND can afford to pay the mark-up then decision is made. However, if you can wait, because the hybrid is a WANT then just wait until the MY23 Maverick books open up and order exactly what you NEED/WANT. This 4k mark-up isn't going to last, dealers are just cashing in on the current "hotness" of the Maverick. There's always going to be another Maverick coming down the line.
Just noticed in your signature you finally got your truck! Congrats! Mine is still waiting to me scheduled.

just saw this. Yea i get what you're saying. I just wanted people's advice and opinions. It's def. not a need but more of want because of the better gas mileage. But honestly, maybe I should just wait until 2023 come out and stop being impatient.
