I also added ash tray / candy wrapper trays to my doors that I now can't live without.

Great find! I wonder how robust that storage cubbie is? I would inspect that a little closer before hauling around a hitch ball in there. I could see that busting through & dropping out on the road.

the content creater has comment saying its tight fit so there's no where for the hitch to go.

You had me. LoL!!!!! I never looked to see if it would dent the body. Luckaly, the cubby hole is a complete plastic box with about 1" clearance away from the body panels. The hitch is a tight fit and doesn't leave much room for movement.
