Rescheduling 24's has begun...My 23 Lariat that was a carry over order from 22 was scheduled for Oct. 16. Just got notice that it's now rescheduled for the week of Oct 23!
I've waited this long I suppose one more week won't hurt...Vin 021XX.

I am getting excited. I ordered my XL Ecoboost with tow package on the first day the books opened and I am scheduled for 11/20.

Morning, so the 24 production cycle starts October 16th. Question is from the outside, is there any projection of catch up orders and 23 to 24 moves there are in the queue? I ordered July 17th and received an email but was warned it would not be a quick process. I understand but the wonder where I could fall into the mix and could I be waiting until sometime next year? No one seems to know. You might feel better if there was a prescheduled target date.
There is no telling when you will get scheduled. If you ordered from a large dealer with plenty of allocations you could get scheduled before the rollover orders. I have been waiting for 380 days and still waiting. The system is not fair, but that's the way it works.

I was the jerk….my original dealership has been less than helpful. And I think they have ordered way more mavericks than their allocations so I hedged my bets and ordered from another dealer. My new 24 maverick was scheduled from the new dealer before the 23 rollover at the original dealer. It’s a dirty game….
Now, you are "forced" into flipping something to recover the private offer. If you don't take the rollover when it comes in, you're out the money. It's too bad the system has to work like this. With today's technology, the middleman's time to go has arrived.

Amen. Time for dealerships to be "reatailers" like an apple store, or something to that effect. One of everything they sell to get a "test drive" and feel for it, with experts to answer questions. Then if you want something, you order your spec and a new, untouched product shows up from the manufacturer, with a price tag that's always the same. And you take it back to the same place for fixes/replacements. The dealership games are so tired, they need a ground-up rethink.

If Ford really have a rodent’s behind, the price protection would have gone to the individual without the stipulation to remain at the original dealership. Suppose it’s is their way of protecting the dealership and ensuring they get their share of the business….while holding the consumer hostage.

I ordered the same in the first day the books opened and my dealer told me I'm #2 in line for ecoboost.

Nothing for me yet. I don't mind waiting when waiting is fair, but Ford could give people a clue where they are truely are in queue. This BS about relying on your dealer to be transparent about allocations and such is BS.

If I dont get a build in the next big round I'm scheduling with another dealer. Didn't want to go that route, but at this point I'll work the system too.

I had an existing relationship with my rural sales rep and I committed to an order with him a couple months ahead of the books opening. I was #1 in line with no rollovers and about as simple an order as you can do. That's about as many scheduling advantages as you can get and I still will be lucky to get my truck before Christmas.

There is no "line". Your order time does not matter, you're not "in front" of anyone. It's like being first in line to buy tickets to concert that's all General Audience seating. It doesn't matter.

Orders get placed into a pool and they get picked based on dealer allocation, parts availability and whatever else the factory is set up for.

I gave up on the Ford mud flaps and have a set of Mabett flaps just waiting to be installed.
What do they do with an exhausted item like mud flaps, delay the build or delete the item and build/ship it anyway?

They will not ship an incomplete truck, nor will they modify your build.
If there's a constrained item on there there your order may not get picked up until those items are available.

This upcoming Thursday should be the big one for December but things may change.
