Agreed. When I started looking at Bronco Sport's as an alternative to the Maverick, I ONLY looked for BS Badlands, because of a number of factors:
* 2.0L EB vs 3-cyl toy
* lift
* "locking" rear diff
* trail modes
and more.
Exact same reasons here. All BS should have the 2.0, leave the 1.5 for the Escape…

I really wonder if I should have placed several orders for a Maverick at different dealers and take the first one that arrive. No dealer is going to turn down a canceled retail unit to sell as a stock unit. It is a win-win. I might do this when the 2023 order banks open.

Are there folks who ordered a Bronco 14, 15 months ago who are still waiting ? Must be fairly easy to get the Bronco Sport. I see at least one every day.
Yep. I'm still waiting. My Bronco is shoved in a f*cking field in Michigan to be abused by MAP workers and anyone else. It'll likely show up to the dealership with over 100 miles on it.

Haha, from my experience it hasn't been the same experience. Chapman could speak to that. He's getting 100+ Mavericks to his 20-30 Broncos with the same amount of reservations.
I would say after your quotes in that article, you’re getting plenty of questions today:D.
Appreciate the response, hope you start getting orders in. It’s a weird world when you can’t go out and buy a new Ford truck.

I reserved my Bronco 19 months ago and since Ford has decided to screw Granger for some reason, I probably won't see mine until 2023 or 2024. I love the Bronco, and have even been to the Bronco Off-Roadeo to spend a day behind the wheel of one, but I honestly don't think I'll ever buy mine now because of the way they screwed me and hundreds of others with their allocation change. They explicitly indicated that all reservations would be filled before dealers received any stock units. That is not happening. I will be 60 years old later this year and I have never owned another automotive brand other than Ford. My loyalty means nothing to them, so I'm moving on and I'll make sure friends and family move on as well. F you F.

When I knew I was going to order my Hybrid Maverick last August I saw the $4000 under invoice price that Granger was offering at the time.

I looked at the sheer number of orders they had outstanding and thought about how long it would be before those orders got filled.

So even though I would have saved about $2000 overall it was not worth the risk in not getting my Maverick for a very very long time.

So I ordered from a local dealership AutoNation Ford in Frisco TX on 8/23, got build date on 9/16, Built on 11/29, Shipped on 11/30 and took possession on 12/13 two months ago.

If you look at the $7,500+ mark-ups on Hybrid Mavericks off the lot then giving up the potential $2000 savings was well worth it to actually have a Hybrid Maverick at invoice price last December.
Hold the phone. You ordered a hybrid on 8/23 (3 days after I did), and got a a build date on 9/16?! While myself and many other poor bastards who ordered before me are STILL waiting for a build date?!
No there’s nothing wrong with this system at all….

I did 26 years in the Air Force and I HAD a $500 military discount lined for Maverick purchase, but it expired in January this year, so that's another slap as far as I'm concerned, because it's not my fault my Maverick, ordered on July 5th, still hasn't been built! Yes gentlemen, I'm with in not understanding why Ford doesn't offer Vets a discount! 😡
Go to fordsalutesthosewhoserve, log into ID me and print of your new PIN. I did it last night and the current offer began on January 4, 2022 and lasts until January 3, 2023.

This post is beating a dead horse.
Many threads in the past are dedicated to how “unfair” the allocation is.

I mean...I ordered my Maverick over 8 months ago and haven't been scheduled yet. Meaning, even I get scheduled tomorrow, I won't get it until 12 months after I ordered it.

That's BEST case scenario.

You got played by Granger. Don't blame Ford because your dealership took way more orders than the allocation they could reasonably expect to have.

This is where Ford shouldn’t confirm the retail order at that point. Let the dealer and the customer know that dealers Allocation is met for the model year and to try another dealer. Give a list of dealers who still have Allocation.

Thanks! I'll give that a try, because surely (I'm not calling you Shirley 😆), my Maverick will be built before January 2023! Won't it? 😳🤣🤣

There's too much horse to beat to be confined to a single thread! This will require many more threads! 🤣 😂

Do you know if they closed the ordering on the Bronco like they did on the Maverick? It's seems asinine if they're still accepting orders when they can't meet current demand!

What many of us have voiced displeasure in ( The Allocation System ) has finally been reported on the Bronco. From that article -

"Ford convinced its most loyal customers to order vehicles months in advance, but the line of reservations has been far from first-come, first-served. Large dealerships are taking priority over smaller stores in the digital queue, primarily disadvantaging rural customers. And Ford has acknowledged hundreds of dealers are charging over the sticker price, which those stores call a “market adjustment.”

Here's a link to the article from Bloomberg without needing a subscription. -

Get ready for everyone here to be in denial…. And for granger to brush it off with a side dish of pure optimism
