I agree with this but I don't think they're being up front with customers about realistic delivery timelines. Maybe they're not being deceitful but I'm sure the average customer ordering from them has no ideal about the allocation process and the fact that they might not even get their truck in this model year. When I ordered my full size Bronco I inquired with Chapman and they said 5-6 years based on the number of orders they had but only because I asked. YEARS!
Based on the computer analysis done by IBM's Big Blue computer using the data from MTC members, the results clearly show that 97% of the members had no idea about the allocation system when placing their order. There's a 2% margin of error and the other 1% just wanted to make memes about Ford! 🤓🤣🤣🤡

The last email I got from Ford was last week telling me how "Tough and Smart" the new F150 Lightning will be!
No thanks, that line will miles and months longer than the Maverick! Plus can you imagine the amount of electronics that you'll be waiting on? I'll bet that as soon as you get your confirmation email the next will be a "chip hold" email! 😵💫🤣🤣
The day you get your email I am going to drink a shot for you in celebration. You have been waiting forever

Although I have no social media I placed an order in January and had a VIN and production date the same month so take that for what it is. I really don't get all the conspiracy theories out there like Ford has time to plant people to make claims on social media.
I also dont do facebook and all the other junk that has ruined the world. But you literally just posted that on a electronic media platform for people to socialize in groups of common interests.

So you are on social media and are complicit in the downfall of and future subjugation of the human race by the feline-reptile overlords.

It is what it is. I do technically have a facebook I got roped into years ago. After several more years I finally put a profile picture of me on it at the request of many friends and family. Its a picture of my +30" wide half naked ass flying through the air while jumping off a waterfall at my place of business. Its quite beautiful, in symbology.

Okay? Do you know who I am? Do you see photos of me and selfies taken in front of stupid things? That's not even the point of my post. Stop with the conspiracy theories.........

Were you one who ordered during that deal? If not, why get so worked up about something you're not even apart of?

I was driving my Maverick before that offer was even presented so I really have no business speaking on it. Plenty of good reading available right here on this forum though:
(1) $3,000 OFF - DEAL CLOSED - Fight OFF the Price Increase with Granger Ford | MaverickTruckClub - 2022+ Ford Maverick Pickup Forum, News, Owners, Discussions
(1) Anyone ordered from Granger got Build email - (3000 off msrp offers only) ? | MaverickTruckClub - 2022+ Ford Maverick Pickup Forum, News, Owners, Discussions

If you want to go right to the source, you can also just read Granger's replies directly:

Who's getting worked up? I'm not. It's just that everyone wants to complain around here about allocation when it seems pretty cut and dry to me. You want $3k off? Okay, you're going to wait forever. I also have read their numbers and from the looks of it anyone who ordered from them in January is probably going to wait another 8 months for delivery based on what they've said. I think it's important information for people to know for when the do the same thing with 2023 ordering. Is it worth it to you to get 3k off the price if you're going to be waiting forever? Some people apparently need a vehicle sooner rather than later depending on their personal situation, not sure why you're being critical and defensive of a dealer when I think this is really good info for people to know.

If it seems too good to be true it probably is.

When you open the article and look at the picture of the Bronco on the assembly line, it sure does look like a Ranger is on the line right behind the first Bronco?

Isn’t the Maverick basically a sport with a bed?
not exactly. BS base model comes standard with 1.5L 3 cylinder Dragon motor and has shorter wheelbase for starters.

Makes sense, isn't the Bronco based off of the Ranger? Kind of like the Maverick and Bronco Sport are produced on the same line in the same factory.

Everyone in the world knows who I am and yet nobody except my wife has a clue about me. I just wanted to remind you that its a bit redundant and pushy to go on about social media at the beginning of a post setting the tone for it. When you have one of those goofy face masks on your profile. Thats an invite, sorry. Dont sweat it. If you have a job or a phone or a computer or a non grass-thatched roof over your head anyone that isnt looking at this forum on a iphone and has some time to kill can find anything they want to know about anyone, its all just code and it goes everywhere there is a wired or wireless signal. Its no big deal. Any conspiracy that someone voices aloud is joke and should be treated as such. Much like our chances of getting a Maverick before christmas. Yay allocations.

I did the best I could to order one with out too much extras or tech, hopefully that helps.

I think you need a solid lesson in reading comprehension as to why I mentioned not being on social media in the first place.

I applaud the information and wouldnt have ordered one yet if not for the $3000 off(yay lower middle class/upper poverty lifestyle!) and at the same time need one since I currently have 2.5 reliable vehicles. Unfortunately the 2.5 is spread out among 4 legal vehicles :ROFLMAO: aswell as 1 half assembled non legal one.

But I will happily wait. Because I'm handy and as Mr Spicoli said "my dads a tv repair man, hes got a killer set of tools and can fix anything!"

Lets keep the info and convo going!

Ford Chief Executive Officer Jim Farley told Bloomberg. “All we can do at this point is scale as fast as we can and break the constraints AND COMMUNICATE TO (BUYERS) what's realistic.”
So Jim, at what point is this communication between Ford and it's buyer's going to take place? 🤔
That WAS the communication

When I knew I was going to order my Hybrid Maverick last August I saw the $4000 under invoice price that Granger was offering at the time.

I looked at the sheer number of orders they had outstanding and thought about how long it would be before those orders got filled.

So even though I would have saved about $2000 overall it was not worth the risk in not getting my Maverick for a very very long time.

So I ordered from a local dealership AutoNation Ford in Frisco TX on 8/23, got build date on 9/16, Built on 11/29, Shipped on 11/30 and took possession on 12/13 two months ago.

If you look at the $7,500+ mark-ups on Hybrid Mavericks off the lot then giving up the potential $2000 savings was well worth it to actually have a Hybrid Maverick at invoice price last December.
