Please don't tell me you believe that plastic is going to scratch tempered glass.
Here is a picture of how much EGR tint the passenger mirror and you can still see through it.

The reason I post pictures is so that you can SEE.
Instead of what other people Claim.
I even have a video on this forum of rolling up a window with the in channel installed.

Most of what I heard was windows don't close all the way or tape don't stick to channel or window retracks when it at top or blocks mirrors and more am sure. Don't take my word look at reviews from other brands. Aim not saying these are bad Mabett makes good stuff I have lots of their products just asking questions. The price is right.

I notice Mabett did not specify the exact plastic compound used. I made sure I bought Polycarbonate, as opposed to acrylic. Much less brittle and scratch resistant than acrylic. I do like having them for the ventilation while parked, especially on rainy days. I also made sure the adhesive was 3M, as I have had trouble with off-brand adhesives adhering.
Yes, I went with exterior mount units due to many friends saying channel mounts were troublesome.

Attach with double stick tape? 3M or whatever brand in the FL sun or anywhere where the summer is brutal (which is just about everywhere) the tape will all but melt and these shades will fall off
