Got my spray in liner done locally. Looks good.

Does the XL/XLT have a different bed than the Lariat? My Lariat has a big Ford logo on the back wall that is part of the sheet metal. I do not see that here.

This is only on factory spray-in liners.

I agree with others; I have no objection to an aftermarket spray-in. I just don't want to take delivery of a drop-in that I'm going to throw away (and don't much care for paying for a drop-in that I don't want).

Hope that my unscheduled lux is indeed delivered with spray-in as Tim has said. Will probably slow my delivery but nothing I can do about it. Sure not going to drop the Lux package at this point.
I would agree they should credit you for no spray in liner, rather than substituting something you don't want. Hopefully you will be able to find someone who would purchase that drop in liner if you get stuck with it.

Based on a conversation with my Ford retired engineer uncle, it would be safe to say the "Spay-in" liner is labor intensive and would cause delays. Removing this option will get all our Mavericks sooner.

I agree if a customer ordered the "Spray-in" Ford should either build it that way or credit the build. We'll have to see what actually happens here. Personally, my order does not include any liner so I can get my truck sooner.

I had a drop in back in the day in a ranger its durable for sure but water gets under it and sits on the bed under the liner till you pull away than you hear a swoosh and the water rushes out on the ground, if your the type that keeps a truck a long time its going to rust under that liner. Spray in liner or even just the rubber matt they sell is the way to go.

No ABSOLUTELY NOT, take it all off and decrease my cost by the 500 bucks, or whatever the cost, and I'll get it done at Line-X. That is ridiculous to force us to accept an inferior product. Just build the damn truck without either and reduce my price and that'll work for me. Unbelievable, is their 1st year in business or what. Ford CONTACT your customers or at least the dealers and allow US to make that choice for ourselves. I'm feeling like Rodney Dangerfield here, we're getting no respect, no respect at all.
They're not "forcing" you to do anything. Damned if they do and damned if they don't. Im sick of the whining on this forum I'm gone. Impatient children, the room is now yours.

If spray in bedliner is in your unscheduled order, you will get spray bedliner. Basically, they will build it the way it was ordered. Goes for any option you ordered.
Thanks Tim, you’re awesome for taking time out to clarify these things.

I have a 2001 Ranger with a drop-in bed liner and yes it is getting a little loose but 20 years later that's pretty good.

Not sure if I read it here or a dealer told me, but the spray-in liners are done off site by a subcontractor.
