If it is done right at the factory they would have to scuff the paint too. I watched a video of a Ford spray in being taken off a F150 and the paint under it was shiny and they were able to pull it off in large patches, not impressed.
Would they have to scuff the paint at the factory or could they not paint the bed at all and just spray in the bed-liner over the primer?

I was quoted $500 by a local Ford dealership but I’d wager that they farm to a local shop and have markup for the dealer. My plan is to go directly to a Rino dealer in my neighborhood…should be less than $500 due to the small size of the Maverick bed.
FYI if going aftermarket route (like Line-X), and are adept at plastic trim removal/re-install, this looks like an interesting take on modifying the standard application. Kinda wish I had done this on my F150 when it was Line-X'd.
