Interesting, I have the pirelli's from the fx4 package as well. At 5200 miles my front left was at 27 the rest were 32-33. I filled them all up to 35. Took the wheel that was at 27 off and sprayed it with soapy water all over multiple times including valve stem no leak found.

So far no pressure loss in 900 miles.knocks on wood.

I just had my first service at Ford and since Thursday my rear passenger tire drops to 22 to 27 psi. I'm taking it in Monday I'm probably having the same issue you had. The funny thing is I got a nail in my front passenger tire no one would plug it and I plugged it myself a month ago and it hasn't dropped one PSI except for the normal hot and cold days.

I went to dealer and they put me off. Went to Goodyear and they thought it was poor mounting at the factory about not proper cleaning of the rims. I have soaped both sides of all four tires and it takes about 15 minutes to show very tiny bubbles. Ultra slow. Dealer still not impressed. Front left is the worst at 1-2 psi every couple of weeks. I just pump them up every month or so.

My FX4 Pirelli's love to be at 32 PSI. No matter the temp, no matter how often I inflate them. I filled them when it was 50 degrees outside in the morning, after a few days they are already down to 33 PSI even though it is warmer day and night then when I filled them a few days ago. In the 7 months of owning my maverick they have never been below 32, but they always creep that way.

Dropped 12 psi last night. Took tire off and soaped again. Found leak at the weight on the back side. Took to Goodyear to fix. They said $20. Let you know if its fixed later when I pick it up. Tire must have been sitting just right to leak more than normal.

check the tire bead where seals to rim, small plastic barcode in rubber causes very small air leak

I had a nail in my tire I couldn't find when I first looked for it. Needed air added every three or four weeks. Drove it for months like that until I went to Florida and the truck sat for a few days and was flat. Ended up getting a new tire because I couldn't plug it. Could have done it at home but not on vacation. Had exact same issue with wife's jeep. That one I fixed at home. Took a few min to find the bubbles because it was a very slow leak. Did inflate it to 50psi to help find it.

Take it to a tire store and ask to have it re mounted with “bead sealer”. They will have it and know what to do. It’s like a black gluey stuff made to seal tires on irregular wheels. Assuming it is not the stem, although it will work on that too.

I thought they would for free, as they always do mine but I wasn't sure they were free for possibly just anyone. I've bought a bunch of tires from discount over years.

Go with stick on weights, the difference in quality, dimensions, and finish of the same weights in the same box is a reflection of the lowest bidder and thus the random problems with leaks.

Yes, same issues you had. Can't wait to toss them for something better. I'll keep filling them untill they die. Front left is worse. Looses 1-2 psi per week. No indications of leak with dish soap.
I took them to Goodyear and had them remounted. Stupid buggers at the plant left lables on the rims causing the s l o w leak. Holding fine now.
