I've been bugging my dealer for my recall for a bit now and just got the go-ahead letter last week. That's a darn nice tumbler...I wonder if those are randomly sent?

Ford sent me something today as well - my new Lariat Hybrid, but I had to pay for it LOL. Glad you got something free. I bet it WILL fit. Most of them are standard size and they all fit just fine.I had no idea what came in the mail today until I opened the box.![]()
Glitter in the eye can be no joke. Square-edged glitter can cut your eye and cause an infection that can make you lose an eye. There was a story of a poor girl to whom that happened. Watch out. These days, I would suspect a glitter bomb....

oops.Out of context of the previous quote, your typo is humorous and potentially not appropriate for a family forum...

I got one about 2 weeks after I took my 2022 Maverick in for the airbag recall.I've been bugging my dealer for my recall for a bit now and just got the go-ahead letter last week. That's a darn nice tumbler...I wonder if those are randomly sent?
The doors were supposed to be uniquely designed. I think the unique was that nothing will fit in them. My non spill mugs and cups won’t fit I can’t even put my ice scraper in there without worrying about it falling out when I open the door and if I do put it in the door it rattles like crazy. Why didn’t Ford just leave well enough alone. All my things fit nicely in my F150 door. Work gloves, mugs, ice scraper, maps it fit and stayed. The ones in the Maverick are worthless. I’d love to give Ford some interior design tips. One thing I liked that Ford did on a few models was the extra glove box on top of dash like the 2008-2009 Taurus. Perfect place for paperwork, road maps, handiwipes and such. I could actually get to them without leaning all the way to passenger side or digging around in the bottomless pit of the center console. That's the "standard" gift thanking you for your patience getting the air bag recall done... And it fits just great in the console cup-holders, but not in the doors. Sigh.
On the plus side, it keeps stuff cold (or hot) for a VERY long time!
I think the difference is target demographic in Maverick. Ford wanted Maverick to be functional for city dwellers and young people as well, who rarely carry stuff like maps and work gloves, but likely always have a water bottle on them. The doors were supposed to be uniquely designed.
