ICYMI, you can fill out the credit application ahead of time. The toolbar at the top of their website has a drop down menu under finance. I clicked get approved and finished the process in less than five minutes. That's less waiting around time at the dealership.

Now that we are getting closer to order banks ACTUALLY opening, figured I would bump this thread for visibility. Who else is getting excited for Thursday/Friday?

I'm going to be a rollover order. I'm going to my local dealer Thursday to hammer out the details.

I've also put in a preorder at LM. I already feel 100% better about my order with LM than my local dealer, as they've reached out to me at least three times (two different people). I haven't heard from my local dealer since placing my order, unless I reached out to them.

I share the same sentiment that I've read on here, that I have confidence LM knows what they're doing and is proactive.

That being said, my order is:
Engine: Hybrid
Trim: Lariat
Color: Cyber Orange
Options...
LUX Package, Co-Pilot 360, Black Appearance Package

And now we wait to see if the small dealer Rollover order comes in before the LM order....

My 2022 LM order didn’t have a VIN as of Saturday so I presume it will roll over. I’ll have to see the changes for 2023 before I decide for sure but I’ll probably switch to a hybrid.

Is anyone else hearing these crazy constraint numbers? Holy moley!

Just jotting a few down as he says them. (backed up the stream a bit to catch the numbers again).

65/35% Gas/Hybrid - Not a lot difference from 2022.

XL 15% - Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn!
XLT 59%
Lariat 26%

Moral of the story. Get a plain XLT if you want it fast(er).

XLT Lux 30%
Lariat Lux 25%
Tremor 8%
Tremor Appearance Pack 3% - Daaaaaaaaaaaaamn!

Black Appearance Pack 10%

CoPilot360 40%
CoPilot360 "Assist" 20%

4k Tow = 20% - Boooooooooooooo

Ready for crazy times?

Spray In Liner is 33%
Drop In is 20% - Am I taking crazy pills here? Spray in is LESS constrained than Drop In!
Bed covers are 3-10%, trays 2%, liners 3%, blah blah blah, pretty much same as 2022.
Splash guards about the same at less than 5%, etc....

This was posted in another thread. I saved it for future reference and order planning.

@fordvideoguy had a video a while back, he said configure a 22 on the ford website and send it to them so they can put the order in as soon as the order bank opens. Then you can make changes as necessary

So make an order online using the builder then what?

Just email them screenshots? (Sorry I'm super new at this)

I posted a reply to the other thread where you were looking for info. Basically call the dealership and tell them you want to pre-order a 2023 Maverick. They will have a salesperson call you and get the specifics.

You really should watch his videos on his YouTube channel. He explains how to share a build. Watch enough and you’ll no longer be “super new” :)

Here is the video about how to order, queued up to the correct time in the video (starting roughly at minute 34 of the almost 2 hour total live-stream).

Disclaimer: Since this video was published a while ago, the specific dates he mentions for when they shift from 2022 to 2023 production (and some of the rumored packages/options) are outdated, but the process he describes is still good/valid.

I emailed Tim this morning to cancel my MY23 order with Long-McArthur. I was among the fortunate few to get a VIN and build date during the final flurry of MY22 scheduling. My truck is supposed to be built the week of 10/24, so hopefully I see it by the end of the year.

Kind of hated to cancel the L-M order, TBH; was really looking forward to working with @fordvideoguy, Sarah and the rest of the crew, and I think a trip out there to pick up the truck would have been fun. Next time...

For now, I wish all of you with MY23 orders the best of luck. May the scheduling odds be ever in your favor! ;)

I'm in the same basic boat. I am going to keep my order as a 2023 with LM. I'm changing it to a hybrid. I figure I will probably have to wait for a hybrid with a lot of constraints, so I'm going to drive my 2022 XLT EB until this time next year (probably) when my 2023 Hybrid makes it to LM, then sell or trade the EB for it.

I think I am going to be in a similar situation. I will hopefully have a Maverick to drive for a few months before my 2023 is ready for pickup (we will see if my 2022 gets built and delivered anytime soon), but I think I am going to end up trading it in for a 2023. The decision I will have to make is if I have the time to drive to Kansas to pick up (and trade in the 2022 to LM), or if I only have enough time to fly to Kansas and drive back with the 2023. Trading in the 2022 locally. I would prefer to help LM by trading in the 2022 and them then being able to flip it quick for a profit on their end, but if I don't have the time to drive there, might have to trade in locally.....
