I had $550 quotes form both Line-X (basic, $200 upcharge for UV resistant) and bullet liner.
There is that up charge for maybe $20 of chemical….

Anyone know if the Ford spray in liner has any type of UV protection? I'm looking at $725 otd for line-x premium, haven't priced out bullet yet.

My comment wasn’t an attack on you. I keep seeing that thrown out as a reason the liner should be used.

How many of those are actually Bullett vendors only? I’ve messaged the vendors in my area and received no response. Line X got back to me within 12 hours. These vendors don’t have bullet in their titles, and I suspect service will be much harder to get accomplished. Not to mention quality control could be lacking. I may be wrong but I hate dealing with third parties. Heck don’t even know if they will be around in a few years to honor the warranty.….

I got a different response. Sent an EMail to our local LineX installer and never got a response. Sent another to a LineX provider that wasn't local and it took three weeks to get a response. Did the same to Bullet and got a response within 24 hours.

I have used both in real world and to be honest they are about the same except for price and the bullet comes with the Uv protection built in. I’ll probably go with bullet next time.

Line X seems to be more reputable. I don’t care who founded bullet. If you need service where are the bullet service centers? I know of 6 line x dealers within 3 hours who only do line x. I found two vendors that applied bullet liners as a 3rd party and just a small part of their business.
There are two Bullet centers within an hour of me and they support the lifetime guarentee.

Comparing the results of my Bullet liner with friends Line-X and the paper thin Ford factory installed spray in liner, I couldn't be happier with Bullet.
