I just got my bed sprayed with Line X spray-in bedliner. They sprayed all the rubber grommets and didn't take them out before spraying. Wasn't sure if this was how they were suppose to do it. Then I looked on the forums and saw other owners didnt have their grommets sprayed. Should I be concerned? Should I bring this to the shops attention? It was line-x of Lanier in georgia. Wow just found out my side led bed lightning doesn't work now. Nothing happens when I push the button.

They also cracked my bed cargo pocket near one of the mounting screws. There is also a noticeable gap between the bed wall and the cargo pocket. Definitly calling them tomorrow.

I suppose there is nothing "wrong" with spraying over top of the plugs, bolts, etc. BUT, if you ever need to access them, it's going to be hard. I'd also say it doesn't look as professional - it looks like an afterthought vs. meant to be there. As for the plastic, looks like they took an impact driver to those bolts and way overtightened them, that's probably why it's all bowed out like that. I would NOT be happy.

Thanks for the feedback. That's exactly what I thought about the bolts. Had to be an impact driver. You should see the bottom bolts. Basically pancaked the plastic. They look like they have rings around the bolts :(

Going to call them tomorrow and ask for them to replace left and right bins.

If this happens to anyone else here are the part numbers

Right bed bin: Part #: NZ6Z60286A72A
Left LED box bin: NZ6B-16F105-BC

Wish me luck!

I spoke to a LineX applicator yesterday about doing our M when it arrives. I specifically asked about the things in the bed that require access, 12v outlet, cubby door in bed and tie downs. They said all that would function as it is suppose to. I think they said there would be a small ($35) charge for the extra detail. There could be differing professional standards at different applicators around the country.

Had Line-X do my Mav last April. They took out everything that could be removed from the bed of the truck. Did an excellent job reinstalling everything. Drainage holes not covered in front of bed on floor after SIBL applied. Couldn't be happier. I'd go back and bring to their attention the things you have pictured. The reinstallation of the cubby box is unacceptable in my opinion. I guess if you backed the fasteners out a bit the plastic would go back to original form!? You shouldn't have to do that.

My Line-X was perfect. They took everything out, sprayed, and then put everything back. They even took the screws out of the tailgate before spraying and reinstalled them afterwards. Looks better than if the factory had done it.

I would find a contact for Line-X directly - website, social media, etc and complain.

I am not sure if that's a franchise or a independent partner, but I am sure that Line-X will be interested to hear and see proof that someone is doing crappy work in their name.

Fantasic quality job. Thank you for sharing the photos.

It looks like they even did the top of the bed rail that is against the cab? I like that as it's different than how it is done wiht the factory SIBL.

Yep. It looks good. Some have expressed concern about making it water tight with covers, but I don't think it will be a problem with the right gasket.

Hey Bob, it looks like the bulkhead by the rear window was done on yours. Have you used a tonneau cover or a cap since this? I'm scheduling mine for Line-X and am curious about leaks. It looks like it's closer to the same height as the side plastic bed caps.
