I suppose lifting a truck would be the right answer but, to be honest, I like the looks of a lowered truck best.

Yeah I came to say the same thing. Whoever thought that was a good idea is a f****** moron. I honestly have no idea what the purpose of it ever was. I can see the back in the air a little so when towing it rides level, but why have the front higher.
They do it to advertise easy rear entry. Kind of like walking around with your ass hanging over your pants, letting the prisoners know your have easy rear entry haha.

I remember back in late 50,s and 60s people would put straight front axles under cars to get it up in the air.spacers under rear springs to do the same.car guys and girls haven’t changed much, just they have there own idea what they want for their car.
Wasn't that a drag racing thing to help put weight on the rear wheels for acceleration.

Yes and back then it was done by trial and error and its alot different today than back then.racing has always had a big impact on street cars.

Carolina squat may just be the dumbest look in a vehicle of all times. I've seen it so extreme I couldn't figure out how they were seeing the road in front of themself.
Could not agree more!

Sweet you don't mince your words.

But yes first time I saw that I was what the F... started thinking maybe truck was in an accident. Because no one would do that on purpose.
And let's not forget the Mandatory lights under the fenders!🤪

Sadly that can be followed by the owner, asking what are you staring at?

What would be the correct answer?

So how did lowering, lifting change the way the truck drove. Did it change every day life with the truck? easier or harder to load thing or see out or get in or out?

Rougher ride with H&R lowering springs, but not too bad. All of my vehicles are lowered so it doesn’t bother me. Easier to load the bed. As a side note I hope whistlindiesel buys every squatted maverick he can find.

This has too be the 2nd worst trend.

I'm beginning to see more of this, too. Some things should not be messed with as it offsets the engineering aspects that went into the vehicle. This has to be stressful on so many parts.

Really didn't under normal driving. Lowering will give you better handling, but I had all terrains on when it was lowered.

I towed both lifted and lowered no problem, only hauled stuff in the bed lifted. For me loading it lifted or lowered wouldn't change anything.

You should do any mods you want to your Maverick but no one should ever pay for a Carolina Squat. As someone who lives in NC, I can’t make sense of it. I guess if you like staring into the sun while you drive?

A few years back I was at a really awesome beach party in the Myrtle Beach area. The lines for the women's port pots were long. I saw many Carolina Squats that day. We not talking about the same thing?
