LED upgrade-Bed Light/3rd Brake Light

Is updating the turn signal, marker, and brake lights to LED worth the cost?

I installed a quik multi flash then constant Red LED. The white LEDs are really bright. Easy install even with a very tight harness. The plug does not have much play in it for the length of the LED when re-inserting on the passenger side white bed Light.

If there is supposed to be a video It's not showing up. At least on my end.
I know how they look. I did the same modification a year ago.
Odd, I see it on my page. It's just the flashing and brake light hanging outside the bed window 🤠🥸

I added the Lasfit 2 white for the outer two bed/cargo lights, and a red for the cmhsl. 3x brighter than the stock halogen bulbs were.

Everything but my rear break lights/blinkers are led. I even added waterproof LED strip light from brilight under the bedrails tied into the oem single d.s. headlight, which is weak at best.

I did white LEDs in the 3rd brake light and reverse lights. Motion activated LED under cabinet LEDs in the bed held on with neodymium magnets.

I did this myself last year. It's totally worth it. Not only does it give off a ton of light at night for safety, it just makes it look nicer. It makes the truck look as it should, fresh and modern. Those yellow hue incandescent bulbs make the truck look ten years older. Yuck!

I did the same upgrade to the reverse lights and front turn signals. The only ones left out are the brake lights since I couldn't find any at the time. That'll be next.

I want to do this conversion, but I have read posts about "hyperflashing" after installing LED's any issues with that?
No I have not had that issue, I believe that is referencing the turn signal led upgrades not the brake lights
..I will keep an eye on it though. I should be able to see it reflected in the bed

IF you use resistors in the turn signal/brake light there is no hyper flashing issue. That's what I did a couple of years ago on my 2024 Hybrid Lariat.

Definitely worth the upgrade.

The brake lights are the rear turn signals.
