Does anyone know what the 1 next to the alto blue means? There is no key at the bottom of the page with the color listings.
The "1" shows up at the bottom of the section (not all the way at the bottom) and it's for Extra Charge Paint.

Kind of odd seeing how the color is discontinued. If the 2024 I have coming sometime between Oct. 1 and Christmas would be that color I would definitely buy it. Oh well.

I know the keypad is a DIO but can I buy that at a later date through service dept and have them install it? I'd like to add it to my truck but don't want to futz with my order since I don't trust my dealer to not screw things up.

Looks like it is able to be ordered and installed separately. Though this hasn't been updated to say it fits the '24 Maverick yet.

That's the same one they've had for a while but there's a new keypad in the same color as whatever truck you have that I'm wondering can be ordered later.

I read elsewhere on this forum that those need to be programmed by the dealer anyways.

Yeah, I just looked at Ford.com, I see what you're talking about. I would just contact your dealer and ask them to order that separately for you.

Dude....

WTF are you doing to your brakes?
Mine always 80,000 to 100,000 in conventional vehicles. 200,000+ in hybrids.
I believe him, he stipulated that it was being driven by a survey crew, and we all know how much harder a work truck gets driven when the driver isn’t the owner…

INTERESTED in these color matched keypads. Can you please provide the link where you saw them? I can see some FordPass points being used for one in the near future if they're available post purchase!

Looks like the manual window is removed. Wonder if the powered one sticks around.

Keypad removal is huge. I love that feature on the Escape and non-Ford drivers are frequently envious of it. If it is not an option on the Lariat, that is disappointing.

Otherwise, it looks mostly like Ford is making their options a little tighter (adding Lux to Lariat standard, etc.) and removing the items people ignored anyway.
Keypad is an available option on all trims. It’s $195 for the Lariat and is still listed as available on the order site. It is delivered to the dealer with vehicle for them to install. I believe it is a stick on and not hard wired to the vehicle.

My post as written was before Ford put it back.

I'm referring to this on Ford.com. You can see it in the Exterior Options when you Build and Price a Maverick. I think I read on here that you can ask your dealer to order these options separately. So I'm not 100% sure if you actually can.

I don't think you can order it separately, only as part of the build process. No one has gotten a 2024 with this option yet so we're not sure how they look.

You can still buy the standard stick-on keypad in black however

Anyone know how long before my Maverick is built, when it shows in schedule 19?
There are a plethora of resources here that will explain that if you look. Priority number isn't so important.

The cliff's notes version is: Ford's great oracle in the sky, (or some guy named Eugene, no one really knows) decides to build a certain flavor of trucks this week. They then go look to see which dealers ordered that exact flavor truck. If one of those dealers has an unfilled allocation based on a number of factors, (but mostly last years sales) that truck will get scheduled. If the dealer has two of those exact trucks ordered, then the one with the lowest priority number will get scheduled. And even if you get scheduled, that may get bumped due to parts shortages.

The best thing to do is sit back, enjoy the forum, enjoy the journey, and understand the overwhelming odds you will not have it for summer next year.
