Just got my 23 Maverick EB XL last week and the first thing i want to upgrade are my light bulbs.
Being Amazon prime day is next week, I've added both led buld brands to my cart with the hopes of them being on sale.
Are there any pro and cons of each led buld brand?
I've looked that the Diode Dynamics site and you can chose the lumens of each buld. It does't seem the case for Lasfit.

My Lasfit front turn signals hyper flashed a couple days ago.
Had them a whopping 2 weeks.

They all do that if they are on for over 7 minutes. They don't hyper flash outside the car, just on the dash. They get hot and thats what causes it.

My turn signal was on just over 2 minutes, the length of the turn light.

Just tested the turn signal time before hyper flash.

Thats a lot shorter than the 5-7 minute time some of you have posted.

I can live with that, it’s not often that I wait longer than 2 minutes for a turn light.

I do want to report these times for those who might be interested in this brand though.

And yes, you are correct, the dash hyperflashed, the actual bulbs, both front and rear, did not.

It did take about 20 seconds for the bulb to cool enough, (turned off), to stop hyper flashing and resume normal operation. Didn’t wait to see how long it took before it started cooking again.

I’ll still keep these. Getting rid of the amber tint from the normal bulbs is worth it to me, plus, the color switch is a lot more modern looking, all the cool cars do that now.

I'd contact them myself. 2.5 minutes is kinda fast to overheat.

Where did you order them from? Maybe the older batches? I thought they put a resistor in them to prevent the hyperflashing.

For simple applications like this, no reason to spend more the the DD's. I had their SS3 Pro fogs and SS2 Pro ditch lights on my Tacoma and they were great. For that sort of application, I would not cheap out. But just simple bulb replacements? LASFIT seems reliable enough. I can't say I've ever had an issue with their products.

Its less than 2 minutes for me now (hot here). Kind of embarrassing when you have someone in the truck asking you wants wrong with your turn signal because they can hear them start to hyperflash. All the rest of Lasfit products I've bought have been great, been using them for years. Lasfit said return them if you don't like them - they've been aware of the issue.

Do you have LASFIT? I've never heard of their lights hyper flashing until I got to this thread
