So much for clarifying “ lasfit confusion”. I ordered underground lights for the rear. Hopefully that end dash Hyperflash. I’ll update next week

@LASFIT should revise the resistance in their LED's to compensate.

Anyways, my dealer did the recall after I waited 3 months for a replacement ABS pump.
If you have forscan, you can just turn off the signaling.

I tried that today, but when I tried to run the BCM it gave me a message telling me I needed an additional license to run it. I don't know how to get that license

The only thing causing hyper flash is the first generation Lasfit REAR bulbs. As far I as I know. I switched out ALL original bulbs to first generation Lasfits and no problems UNTIL the Software update. I only changed out my rear bulbs to the T3 new ones and problem solved. Everything works fine now. All my other bulbs are Lasfit Led, first series and all is good. Your mileage may vary!

I'll be on the lookout for hyper flashing after I get 23C41 done. I see a set of 4257NA red can bus LED's on Lasfit's site. I bring up the fact it will be my second set and see if they give me a discount.

Just for clarification sake, the recall impacts the rear originally sold LED rear/brake/turn signal bulb WT21W/7W . The newer version T3-4257R resolves the dash hyperflash on the XL and XLT, but NOT the Lariat.

What is so different with the Lariat that the rear T3’s don’t work without the dashboard hyper flash on the Lariat ????? The Lariat combo package on the Lasfit site has no rear brake/turn signal LED bulbs at all. Frustrating!!!!

It's a good question. I heard some say it has a slightly different socket. It also has the signature LED lighting in the rear that the XL and XLT don't have. None of it makes sense to me.

It's the rear tail lights. Non-T3 Lasfits were encountering hyperflash with the new BCM programming so people were getting replacement Lasfit T3s. The newer T3s have some sort of adaptive resistance circuit that allows it to adjust to a resistance/wattage value until it makes the BCM happy.

Didn’t work for me.

I had the recall done yesterday. I didn’t look at this forum topic before I did it. DOH!

Anyway, I already had the T-13 4257R led’s in the tails before the recall was completed.

Hyperflashes on the dash.

I just wrote Lasfit to see what they suggest.

Lasfit said they would send out the latest version, T13-4257, to replace my existing T-13 bulbs.

They are currently out of the newest version.

...crap I'm confused. So the only bulbs causing the hyper flash are the rear lasfit? I have a XLT with front lasfit 4257 DRL 1st gen only, the rear are stock. Will it cause hyperflashing after the recall?
