I recently had a recall done for taillight and first time I turned on radio I heard a pop or Crack. So I decided to check everything. My question for owners with this system. When my fader is set to middle it sounds OK but when I set it to rear speakers they are working but sound is 1/3 the output as opposed to moving to all front. Can someone confirm their system is same or is front or rear ouput same level thanks in advance

When faded to the front it uses the 6.75 doors, 3.5 center, and dash corner tweeters. This is always going to produce a lot more sound than the rear 4-inch speakers by themselves. If you change the output to stereo instead of surround you will get a little more out of the rears, but still not like the front. I just changed out all my speakers this weekend and messed with fading and balancing the sound all the way around as I went to ensure that each speaker was working as I went before, I put all the panels back on. I replaced the rears with 4x6's which helped, but the rear is still diminished in comparison to the fronts.

The rear speakers were the first thing I replaced in my B&O system. The stock ones sounded worse than a 1980's walkman.

I put in some $99 Morel Maximo 4" and they are Much better.
I first tried some $60 Pioneer 4" from Bestbuy and they weren't much better than the stock ones.

recommended b&o settings:

stereo mode - surround mode has way too much center and seems to reverse L&R channels on the rear. (I guess that's 'ambience'?)

fader 1-3 notches forward from center default
treble -1
midrange level to +2
bass -2
speed sensitive volume off

with a high quality source (spotify very high quality, apple music, tidal hifi or master) you can easily play the stock B&O system to volume 30 for most music. it gets a LOT better if you install new 6.5 components in the front doors & dash tweeter locations.

I double wrapped some double stick tape around them and they sit right in the original spots perfectly. I didn't take any pictures of those, just the 4x6 I'm the back.
Tug on the A pillar at the top and it will pop loose but still be connected by a tether. Just pull straight up from the dash on the bottom of the a pillar trim piece to get it out of the speaker grill on the dash and leave it hanging from the tether. Use a trim removal tool to pry up the grills from the dash and then disconnect the speaker wire from the tweeter. There are some tabs holding the tweeter down just push one of them back and pull up on the speaker with a small screwdriver to remove.

Quick question, does changing the speakers void the warranty?

If the replaced speakers in turn blow the amp or APIM, sure. But the "The Warranty" isn't a monolithic coverage that gets voided for the entirety of the vehicle the second you put an aftermarket component in.

that question honestly gets really tiring and it's probably because people have been subjected to dealership fearmongering for decades and don't understand new car warranties.

I live in the city so didn't really need my own vehicle for over 12 years. Just bought the truck so I figured I ask. I did get the extended warranty on my 24 XL. Thx.

that was not intended as a knock on you at all. *a lot* of people ask and I think it's a widespread misconception.
