Not really sure what’s going on. My Lane-keeping alerts and lane-keeping aid were initially working just fine on my EB AWD XLT (w/co-pilot 360 package). I recently noticed that it’s no longer alerting me or aiding the steering wheel when I veer into another lane. The settings indicate that both aid and alert it is on. Any others observing or hearing about this issue?

Good afternoon. Could you please send over a private message with your VIN and the name and location of your local Ford dealer? I'd like to look into your Maverick's lane keep concerns on my end.

Mine isn’t working as well. If I turn it off and on in the settings it vibrates but doesn’t work while driving.

So a quick update on my issue. Turns out the issue was me. It was a user error. I used the feature so rarely that I had forgotten there’s a lane-assist button at the end of the turn signal handle. After I pushed it to enable lane-assist, it now seems to be working. I’ll be testing out the feature a bit more, but as far as I can tell, it’s working fine. One note I must say about Ford support during this issue - they were very proactive in following up. Thanks Ford support. :)

A couple thoughts on this,

check your signal stalk, theres a button on the end that turns the system on or off...at least thats how it works on the escape...kept knocking that button and turning it off...took awhile to figure out what was going on...
If its not there, might be somwhere else, on the Bronco Sport, the toggle is on the left cluster on the steering wheel. Or you might need to turn it on in the settings which I believe is on the radio system settings.

Hope that helps

When my Maverick came back from the recall work, the left side Lane Keeping stopped working.

It's only the Left side. Oddly, the driver screen shows the left and right beams, but the left beam that is faulty shows a thinner and solid line, where the functional right beam is shorter and more diffused.

The Left side will change color to yellow as you cross the centerline and flash red momentarily after you have crossed the line.

It seems like a camera problem to me. I'm also seeing odd behavior in the high beam dimmer. It's started flashing oncoming traffic momentarily on the highway.

The dealer had it for 6 hours while I waited. checking it out. Said it was fixed 3 times, but nothing they did made any change in the operation.

Any thoughts?

Thanks for this post. I know it's old but I just bought a 2024 and had the same issue. Kept checking the screens and everything was on but nothing was working. And as soon as I found that button on the turn signal tada! Thanks again!

I was just doing a Google search for this same issue. I’ve had my ‘23 for 11 months now. I remember trying and using the lane keeping assist a few times last year when the truck was relatively new. I didn’t drive enough on the interstate over the winter to use it, but tried it a few weeks ago and it didn’t work. I remembered and tried the button on the turn signal, and iirc, when I clicked it, the light on the dash came on/went off as I clicked it, but lane assist still never worked. The light on the dash does show when I leave the lane; it is the lane keeping that doesn’t work. I tried it again just this week and it still isn’t working (although the light does work and the cruise control does work fine).

Any thoughts or ideas?

I haven’t tried it yet, but I may have found an answer to my problem through this post on YouTube…

You need to be going over 40mph for it to work as well.

I resolved the lane changing issue. I went into the menu and deselected everything that had to do with lane changing and unselected it on the turn signal. I then shut my truck off, restarted it and reselected the lane changing on the turn signal and made adjustments for it in the menu. I then took her out for a drive, went 40 mph and over and it works again!! Somehow, the issue is now gone.
