I know this topic has been exhausted, just looking for a simple answer. I have the B&O, can I use the factory sub wiring for the HS-10? and change the EQ to flat using Forscan?

I added a separate subwoofer and amp using the factory wire to the existing B&O subwoofer and high level input on my amp. The HS10 can use high or low level inputs switchable. I also did the Forscan EQ to Flat mod. My system sounds great to me. To be fair some have said that there can be issues setting the EQ to flat on a B&O system. Perhaps some others can explain what if any downside there is to doing this.

Care to elaborate? Because you sure can drive a subwoofer amplifier off the B&O outputs for the channel.
He asked for a simple answer. That is no. It needs to be wired to the battery for power, at least to do it properly.

He will have to answer this himself but I do not think he was asking about where to wire up the power to the HS10 but only the signal wires. I do not see where there is any power wiring in the " B&O outputs". I wired my power amp right to the battery which was convenient since it is right there.

The power wires are on the 8-pin connector 3154B separate from the signals connector, although they're constant power and too small to supply the HS10 on their own. Technically you could rely on the signal sense turn-on, but the amp module can get woken up even when the truck is off so could contribute to unwanted battery drainage.

I suppose it is possible OP is unaware of the power requirements of the HS10 but I know it is fused at 15Amps which means it could easily draw 10 amps. The small wires in the 8-pin connector are not designed to supply that much current. A direct battery connection is required. I still don't believe he was asking about power but that is for him to say.

I just checked and see now that he has an ecoboost so not so convenient to wire power directly to the battery. He may have been asking about using existing wires in the neighborhood of the subwoofer. The answer to that would in fact be no.

Do you mean can you tap the sub connector from the B&O system and use that for a signal to your kicker.

If that's what you're asking and absolutely yes you can. Otherwise you'll need a t harness off the factory head unit or or by tapping the speaker wires in the sill panel.

The b&o would be the way to go easiest especially if the kicker has auto sense high level.

It's fun watching people try to determine what OP was asking. Here I thought that over-detailing my questions was the way to go, but as it turns out being vague AF is way more rewarding.

That's what i'm asking, I understand about coming from the battery for power source.

As others said, you can use the B&O sub wiring, that's how I have mine. It looks like we're in the same town if you need a hand with it or want to see how I did mine.
