Can someone please help me find out where or what I can connect the remote turn-on wire for my HS-10. It is used for the Automatic Turn-On Selection. On the HS-10 you can select Remote Turn On or DC Offset Turn On. I cannot find any threads on where I can tap into the fuse box under the glove box. I really do not want to have to pull our the headset out but connecting is to the fuse box would be the easiest solution. I'm going to tap into the rear left and right speakers for the sound signal. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mavito, I connected the sub remote to the radio harness yellow wire. It comes on with the head unit and turns off at 30 second - 3 minutes after exiting and locking the truck. I used a simple screw tap. The radio harness is accessed by removing the AC vent cover and lifting the black foam cover to expose the plug. Hope this helps.

You shouldn't need to even hook up the remote wire. Just set the HS10 to 'DC Offset' and it will turn on automatically when it detects speaker signal.

Darnon is spot-on regarding the DC Offset.

You may want to research a bit regarding the rear speakers wires as inputs. The factory system has frequency-limited the output to those speakers and bass is not there. I did not perform an instrumented test, but my ears would guess 120Hz high-pass (or higher).

There are quite a few posts discussing this.

Thank you all for the replies. You wouldn't happen to know where I could tap in to the front door speaker wires then would you? If this is my only other option to get the best bass signal of the HS-10?

Mavito, you can purchase the plug and play wire harness from Gus at hoelwiring.com and you won't have to splice into your speakers as another option. Hope this helps.
