Kia Homelink mirror installed

I wired mine today. I hooked the black wire with white stripe (from the mirror harness - the wire furthest from the black wire with the lug) to the yellow with green stripe wire on the dome light connector (I have an 2024 XL Hybrid).

I hooked the middle solid black wire from the mirror harness to the purple wire on the dome light connector.

I noticed the mirror stays on for about 5-10 minutes (compass and green power light are on) after I get out of the Maverick. Is that normal? On my Camaro, the mirror turns off as soon as I open the door.

Doubt if that amount of current draw will kill the battery but wasn't sure if I mixed up the wiring - pretty sure I followed the gentek instructions...

Did you use two or three wires for the mirror harness? The compass/auto dim (green light) should go out with the map lights because it's wired to ACC power and the homelink should be wired to constant power so you can work the garage door.

I wired both to ACC power so no one can mess with the garage if power isn't on.

When I logged on about 6:24PM, website said two in stock. After I ordered, it still said two in stock, then you say you got two, just logged on site & still says 2 in stock.
Will be interesting to see what happens. My PayPal went through, guess they will refund if they don't have the mirror.

I just checked my receipt and had the same D9062 as well but the link that was provided also shows that same part number. It should be the same as the other. I used PayPal as well and it went through.

My mirror harness is a 3 wire system. It swapped the wires I had connected to constant and the ACC it seemed to be working normal.

I got mine from Autonationparts dot com
