Yeah I'm waiting for warm weather. I purchased a new OEM wired keyless keypad for the door pillar, and the door pillar vinyl. Got both from fairway Ford.

Would be great if somebody with a 22 or 23 could pop out their keypad and measure where the opening is exactly on the door pillar.
DM sent with pictures.
If you need something more specific just ask me. Good luck

New to group. Just purchased 2024 Maverick lariat with 2000 miles. I found keypad code in fuse box inside truck. It has 7 numbers not 5. It say foreign trucks have 7. I have tried 5 & 7 numbers can't seem to get to work. Anyone else seen this?
Thanks
Maybe the last owner changed the code? Have a Ford dealer get you the original code, then change it to what you want. I always change mine to my last zip code, easy to remember that way.

I believe you pop off the top cover of the keypad to replace battery

Nope.
It's a little more involved than that.
Ford didn't want to make it so easy. That anybody could come up, pop the cover off, take the battery and you end up being locked out. 😳 Not that it would actually happen.
This is an old thread. I'm willing to bet not much has changed.
